Was wondering if they would actually use the new rule but that was a good example on the Capewell try where both tacklers made it but fell over the line

I disagree, you missed the bit about making a tackle when there is little chance of stopping the try. I'm not a Capewell owner.

But what about the tackler making a good effort and not showing poor execution, ie both players made the tackle while the try was scored.
No tackle was actually broken in the try being scored

Same reason a fullback say tackling a winger around the legs who scores in the corner, why put the execution part in if its for slapsies after the try is scored?
