@Milchcow Katoa and Leilua are on my short list for my finishing 18. It is unlikely they make the Top 5 2RFs but they are certainly capable fill ins if their scores continue and the impact of other 2RFs isnt as great as filling other roles in my squad.

Don’t think I’m going to get S Crichton this week just to not spend a trade at centre where possible.... but it is a little uncomfortable as he looks a likely type. Rangy fella with a step and kicking goals this week against a warriors team too. Little uncomfortable

I did that last week with Fog, JTB, Hoppa and whichever else come up. They are now all just too dear and I don't think worth the trade now. If I had them I wouldn't be upset but I don't want to use a trade now. I get what ST means. I'd rather bank the money now and hope he is a good one.

He contradicts what I said above with his price bracket, but he could be a centre keeper. Looked good enough for it and should see lots of attack.

At the moment I'm looking at Lucy possible sufficing as a final player.

If shiba is definitely ruled out again I will probably succumb to the temptation of 4 trades... something we won’t get again this year

Yeah I've considered Crichton, Yeo, Twal, Jurbo, Harris, Frizell, Mofo. Just hard to go past Crichton's solid base and high ceiling. Risky though, Aubbs is the concern obvs.

I would be going Walters to Clark. Walters is all but done and this nets me 117K which will be very useful next week as more cows peak and more guns drop in value. Not keen on wasting a trade in the CTR's when Wili and Lomax are doing fine and Aubs could be back soon enough.

This week's team after trades (20 trades left, 75k ITB)

    Koroisau
    Haas Carrigan
    Yeo, Leilua, Katoa
    Moses, DCE
    Lomax, Capewell
    Papenhuyzen, Drinkwater, Isaako

    Friend, Mann, Grant, Brailey
    Luai, Wiliame, Fogarty, Rudolf

I'm pretty happy with this, hopefully I can run with this for a few weeks to let the cows mature

Lomax and Wili were probably two of their best on the weekend. Constantly putting in effort and taking a bunch of runs out of their own end. Aitkins is out of favour, don't see their spots as in danger. It is the forwards and the halves who are on notice.

Yea lomax seems like the golden boy around there and aekin seems to always be on the outer. With flano breathing down marys back and luke on the bench they could drop aetkin or another centre for another 'FoRd' on the bench

JTB and Hoppa werent basement price. If Fog was $250k or $260k but scored 45 or 50 points. You would trade him in. Which is the case with the rookies this week. You can see who scores big and they will be cheap

But is Clark safe and not losing his spot if he has a bad game.

I've changed my mind yet again, and instead of Clark or Paix I'm gonna back Stephen Crichton. Does mean I have slightly less cash ITB this week but Crichton will make more money quicker, and it means I can move him to starting CTR next week when I sell Lomax for Cleary. Clark is probably better for cash but Crichton is a points + cash play and I can see him getting a try running at the garbage tier Warriors right side

QCup averages aren't the be all and end all.

Paix has played almost exclusively as a halfback in QCup, so if nothing else his tackle count will improve with the move to hooker.

I'm avoiding Paix because I think he's too short term, but who knows.

If Clark impresses he might keep the job for a while, but Peats could come back at some point, especially if Titans keep losing

And just like that I return to cashing out to Fogarty

He’s a huge risk. Anyone in a bad side who plays badly is, but shapes as a guy that is more than just a cheap signing. Whether it is Capewell, or even bloody Tuala, clubs do like playing the guys they bought. Add to that he’s already shown they’re keen to pick him on the bench at worst (at close to full strength) and has now demoted 2 fit and healthy experienced guys completey out of the 21

With DPP Clark is a bit of a no brainer and hes well named. My wife’s name is Erin and she goes good

The talk was Fogerty was coming in to lead the team around and Taylor could then pick and choose his moments. It looked like Taylor tried to pick every moment.
Im sure the coach would have a word to him and let Fogerty be on the ball a bit more
