I'm still on the Yeo train... 732k with a be of 11. Now's the time to get him in. Considered last week but wasn't sure of his 80 minute role - seems clear now after his 90 minute effort, was everywhere for Penrith
A score of 60 will make him almost 800k and he looked likely to score last week as well. Can't resist an 80min lock I don't think
Other options around his price point, for me, would be:
Matterson - higher price, still 50ish be, not an urgent get
Jurbo - high be, can wait
Murray - back to lock which is appealing but a bit hesistant to bring him in right away
Crichton - proven pedigree as an 80minute 2rf with an immense ceiling but Aubo is always lurking. Probably second on my list if Aubo is stuck on the bench moving forward
Frizell - so far so good this year as an 80minute 2rf but who knows what the Dragons will do. Also has only averged 50 over his career as an 80min 2rf so his current average probably won't be sustainable. Probably set to hit a 30-40 score eventually but can see the appeal of getting him in
This is going to be a tricky choice for me... Agree everything so far supports Yeo being a good buy, but if I don't get Murray now then I may never be able to and Murray is a proven 55 point Lock, Yeo will certainly come back to earth at some point but the question is how much.

I'm looking at this as well.
Either both and some cash in the bank or one of them plus SCrichton.
Leaning towards Paix plus SCrich based on my gin filled gut

4 trades for me this round but i doubt i make more than 2-3 over the following 3 rounds. Given im trading in several guns this round, i wont have much cash in the bank but will have several cows ready to milk by round 6 or 7. I was going to try and set myself up to get Cleary next round but i think i can wait a few rounds after he gets back.

I bought a bottle gin the other day for a cocktail night. What do you do with it?

Crazy, but even if Aubbo is starting I like the look of Teddy, Ponga, Murray, S Crichton.

He’s a huge risk. Anyone in a bad side who plays badly is, but shapes as a guy that is more than just a cheap signing. Whether it is Capewell, or even bloody Tuala, clubs do like playing the guys they bought. Add to that he’s already shown they’re keen to pick him on the bench at worst (at close to full strength) and has now demoted 2 fit and healthy experienced guys completey out of the 21
With DPP Clark is a bit of a no brainer and hes well named. My wife’s name is Erin and she goes good
Gee I hope she isn't a base price hooker with DPP ability too.
I'll see myself out.

Just some thoughts working out who might be in my final 2RF if I trade Taumalolo out and can't get him back in.
Currently best 3 2RFs (by total, not average) are
Yeo, Taumalolo, Frizell
Twal would be 3rd and is likely to get 2RF in 3 weeks time
Fifita and Capewell are 1st and 4th on averages.
Lets put Capewell in the backline and assume that currently best 2RF is 3 of
Yeo, Taumalolo, Frizell, Fifita, Twal
How realisitic is that they will remain the top 5 until seasons end?
Others averaging over 50
Boyd Cordner
Tevita Pangai Junior
Ryan Matterson
Jai Arrow
Brodie Jones
James Fisher-Harris
Luciano Leilua
Patrick Carrigan
Angus Crichton
Josh McGuire
Tohu Harris
Eliesa Katoa
Curtis Sironen
If they maintain that, these guys could be viable substitutes for final team
Plus guys just outside 50 average at the moment like Murray, JTrbo, Kikau
I think ideally I would like Taumalolo, Jtrbo + 1 other, with Carrigan possibly in 14 (and 15,16,17 taken up by hookers)
If you can get someone who averages within 5 points of Lolo, you probably won't miss much long term (if Lolo misses 2 weeks, and you can replace Lolo with a 40 point scorer should you hold him)
If Lolo misses 1 week and goes straight to 65 averages on his return then holding him wul dbe a tough strategy to beat.
Not really a massive point to this thread other than putting down some names in writing to help me with my thoughts
You forgot McInnes

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 28 - too many guns
Haven't spent much time going through the numbers this week, but I'm warming to the idea of dumping Lolo. Lolo, Horse, Walters and Shiba out really makes my team look a lot more balanced. Can potentially bring in SCrichton, Capewell, Yeo, and Murray/Turbo. If Murray starts at lock he'll be gold vs bringing in Turbo.
Yeo and Capewell the big targets for mine this week. Just can't see another way to grab Yeo. I would prefer Best to Crichton but that $60k is a bit much.
