Surely got to take Hopoate score of 44 over Luai and Rudolf right

I would yes.Had to pick one of Hopo/Rudolf pre match and have Hopo happily take his 44. Rudolf should go around mid 30's low 40's, but points are in the bank already.
Like a few I have Paix on the loop and happy for Luai to warm the EMG for the rest of the round. Luai is the bigger risk of going gangbusters, but didn't look very likely last week, and again prefer points in the bank than taking a risk and getting 30

Opinions on Val Holmes? Another one who can gun it in the new format with broken lines and tiring defences?
Have worked out a way of keeping Tolo and bringing Ted in next week, but would mean bringing Holmes rather than Turbo in now and possibly for the season. The more I think about it, the more possible it seems a goalkicking Holmes can near enough match Tommy T.

Holmes averaged nearly 48 in 2018 season at fullback which includes 11 games without GK so would of been higher again. I like the play who would be your 3 WFB?rhinoceroo wrote:Opinions on Val Holmes? Another one who can gun it in the new format with broken lines and tiring defences?

TU: Kerr
TD: Rudolph
I’m going to take Hopoate’s 44 and that means I need one more player for my bench

Absolutely, went for the POD captain, disappointed he didn’t outscore HaasFalconSloth wrote:Did anyone else captain Lindsay Collins last night?

Teeth Eater wrote:Pretty happy with Paix's score though I saw with 15mins or so to go, he was on 44 tackles and then he came back on and got back into it, so I was a little surprised to see him with a total of 42 points, but I'll sure as balls take it. Unfortunate that the game offered absolutely nothing for him other than tackles.
Anyway, my wife returned from work right as this was all happening, but what exactly went down? Paix went off for Niu, who then played at hooker, but then Paix came back on a few minutes later and Niu went to fullback? And Isaako went to I don't know where? I assume one of the centres or wingers went off? What happened there? I started getting concerned that Paix may be playing a 50/50 role with Niu, but that's not likely.
My main hope was just that he'd get a decent opening score and then even if he only plays 40 or so minutes he can hopefully keep the price ticking over, something like where B.Brailey should have originally been in the first place.
I think it got to a point where it didnt matter so the subs were a bit meaningless. Made it even more difficult when Arthurs got binned.
Niu was playing fb in defence and DH in attack - isaako was defending in the middle - but when arthurs got binned, isaako went out wide.
When Paix came back it was for bullemor, so effectively one of the outside backs was playing on the edge, cant recall who.
I feel sorry for Niu, on debut and get flogged 59 nil. No 18 year old deserves that memory.
Re milford to fullback, as Mearcats said, please fuck no. I wouldn't be against just sitting his arse in the #14 for a few weeks and he can spell Paix. Teach him to get his hands dirty again. In Deardens limited time he at least showed he would put his body on the line. Milfords defense is probably the worst in teh comp.
Boyd absolutely needs to be dropped. It has to be done. Probably Oates too. Unfortunately all we have is more young guys to replace them so Broncos fans need to be prepared for a bit more pain for a few weeks. At least we get Staggs back next week (who can't defend). We also have Kahu, I don't know if he's fit. He's no superstar but he's solid at least, unless he's gone severely downhill of late.
And then you have Teo who will surely come in, but he hasnt played a game of league in 6 years. At least he's a pro and shouldnt let the side down.
Sorry for flooding with Broncos posts, my last post on the subject.

How deadly would Kerr be if he was evaisive... I hear he is pretty quick and with all these staggered defense lines off quick ptb he could be a weapon. With aekin and like on the bench id assume he gets some decent minnutes.
He was a winger until they moved him to the forwards in u20s. He has the skill, just needs a chance to show it.

From next week would be Holmes, Papi and Ted at WFB, with Drinkwater moving to the halves alongside Moses.

Rough numbers as I'm on my phone but he'll be down to around 450k so priced around 30 after this round. They've played the roosters and storm first two rounds back and have a better draw coming up with the troops coming back (walker, roberts) and Murray shifting back to lock. I love a gamble and I think this will be mine! Much rather have him at 450 then best and Crichton for only 100 or 150k less.
Latrash has lost a chunk of coin as I predicted for a reason. He doesn't have his average 8pts a game in goal kicks from Roosters for starters

Do it imo. I've been eyeing him off as well.
He's the key focus of all of their attack. Cowboys team with Robson, a fit Hess, and a bit of fresh blood in other areas is coming together.

I like that mate worse comes to worse and if you have trades near end of season sideways to ponga/Turbo if they don’t work out! Papy looks the goods though 40 average with zero attacking statsrhinoceroo wrote:

With Boyd and Milford inside him, I doubt he can manage any form

Haas just keeps going! Still not convinced the logic of not starting Haas was wrong, just the timing with the entire Broncos pack being out injured or suspended. Even after putting up a few monsters to start the year he is still only averaging 3 above his starting price, let's pump the brakes. Worth noting he got benched straight after missing a one on on tackle on Liu up the middle that lead to a try. Seibold has clearly seen it's better for the team to give Haas a spell and bring him back fresh at the end of the game
