212k - they forgot to update base price in the code this year, didn’t they?

If you needed a centre and could still reverse (I.e. looking at Best instead of the Panthers) he would be worth a punt. Otherwise will still be cheap next week.

Averillo is one of those rare cases where a base price player has those low scores in their 5 round average meaning even a good score this week will barely move his price, but he will have a low, possibly negative break even next week.

I would hope 950 would increase rank somewhat. Most people would have Koro, Pappy and Katoa in their 17. A lot would be holding Lolo, Cleary or Teddy. And there was a handful of dud scores around like, Friend, Croft, Isaako, Milf, Flegler, RTS, Crichton, Kikau, Arey, Hughes.

Out of that list, I've only got Crichton, averages get me to 944. I'm hoping for a slight rankings improvement.

All the most commonly held players have either matched or gone lower than their R3 scores so far. I feel I’m running slightly above average and I think if my remaining players hit what I think they’ll average I’ll get low 900s. So I think 950ish at this stage is looking really good. But it doesn’t take much to change things - last week with two games left I was hoping for 940-980 and ended up at 1058. Others with Shib would’ve seen their fortunes go the other way

I had 21 greens so no chance of getting them in there. Just felt I had better options.

Would have made a decent HLF pairing this week

Yeah exactly, I think 950 you get a decent rankings boost, par about low 900s. At this stage anyway. And yeah Shiba

Why put Capewell in the SR and play an extra CTR when you don't have to?

Plus I seriously doubt he can maintain SR level scores for long.

Last year he put up scores of 13, 28, 12, 19 and a bunch of 30s and 40s with a high of 63 as an 80 min SR. The 19 was 65 mins but got hooked for 12 MTs.

A 50 point game sees him at ~247k. Definitely worth waiting a week

For what it's worth I played Capewell as a second rower this week due to lack of coverage with Taumalolo. At this stage of the year no one has a final 17 so it's just about getting the best 17 on the field you can

I still have Hughes in my team for some fucking unknown reason. Unless Brailey really messes up this round I should be able to cash him out (to Paix?) to upgrade Hughes to Teddy

I had confidence in Hughes due to his high kick metres round 1&2 giving a good base, but his role has well and truely changed since the restart. Was robbed of a try that probably takes him to 40, but he is a sell for me

Yup, same reason why I bought him in for round 2, he looked to have got the kick metres and was kicking for Vuni very effectively, restart killed that. He was looking a lot like Wighton in 2019. Glad I got him out this week for Yeo, and still have 500k in the bank for getting Cleary and Lolo, plus potentially Cook/CS9/McInnes in for Api in a couple weeks.

Gonna be a good watch for me tonight. Got DCE, Moses and Turbo. Need them all to get 50+ in order for me to win my h2h game. Do we reckon 50+ is achievable for them?

my captains in the 4 rounds this year have scored 52, 52, 60 and 54 so if anyone has an underperforming mid ranger they want to pump out a 50+ score in round 5 let me know and I'll hook you up

Yeah chucking Capewell in the SR for a week when you have no coverage is sound.

Trading in some injury prone true CTR on the premise that Capewell can hit SR scores doesn't sound good to me though.
