im actually playing crichton at WFB. the others are turbo and papa. i think Mitchell against titans should be a good one. he looked solid last week.

Macca will be my interchange player. i believe he is undervlaued whilst providing keeper scores for 80mins.

    my team atm:

    Api
    Haas Carrigan
    Tapine HOrse Lucy
    Moses Drinky
    Lomax Capewell
    Turbo Crichton Papa

    Grant
    Yeo
    Katoa
    Brailey
    hopoate
    kennedy
    luai

the other option is instead of mitchell and macca i bring in Teddy and Paix

It’s disappointing he hasn’t even made the 40 point price tag we bought him for With 4 games under his belt, but he looks busy enough sniffing around. I could afford to give him another couple of weeks, but if he’s not looking like a keeper then he may as well become Turbo ASAP.

Jumping the gun or just good aggressive trading?
I'm trading him. Re-watched the Storm game this week, and can see Welshy's point that he was just caught by the coat tails a few times that could have led to massive breaks for him, but not looking like a keeper. Other fullbacks are the focal point of the team's attack, but he isn't, so isn't getting the same opportunities that others like Ponga, Turbo, Teddy do. Prefer Latrell + change, looking back to his best, but still to add just taking the line on, rather than being primarily a distributor and has added advantage of covering the nightmare CTR position.

Your backline is way better than most, no need to bring in best. Clark, Fogs, Paix might all be better for your team balance depending on your what your full squad is.

I already have a fair few cows still making money like Rudolph JTB Paix Katoa Grant Crichton.

If Aubo starts 2nd row in team lists I can do Luai>Clark and Pap>Turbo/Best/Anyone up to 728k

If Aubo is benched I guess it forces my hand into Aubo>Best and Pap>Turbo

Just checked my updated score 1005 points for the round and am pretty stocked with that considering I had two scoring players in the 20's and two in the 30's. First score in the 1000's for some time now.

Took a risk in trading out Lolo / Aubbo and bringing in Ponga and Cook. Paid dividends.

Possibly cashout option of Ben Teo, depending on where he is put. Wouldn't it be nice if he had 2rf/ctr status.

Ben Teo is 35years old and weighs the same as papalli you think he will play on the edge? Starting from the bench as well

Good points. But I am no more sold on Latrell being there than I am on Paps, so I will likely give Mitchell another week- if he can’t bust the Titans I doubt he ever comes into my squad. I keep toying with Paps>Turbo but it doesn’t feel like a huge leap forward (though I have never been as sold on Tommy as others) and wondering if I just save my pennies to move on Ponga next week.

    Also for the Broncos:
    - Jake Turpin expected to miss 4 weeks due to small tibial plateau fracture (usual return to play 4-6 weeks)
    - Alex Glenn on track to return in Round 6 after having stitches removed from deep calf laceration

Teddy & Paix far better trades IMO. Also put Yeo in starting team & Horse/Carrigan on bench, otherwise you have no FRF cover

You also mentioned Walters as trade out who you don't have

    I like this better.
You're generating cash+ the best scorer in WFB.
I am not sure Macca will stay in the anyone's team till the end of the season unless you run out of trades.

Updates pushed me to 980, best score for the season with Teddy on the sidelines. Overall up to 1115. Got a few cows all maturing in the next couple of rounds so will likely move Guler and Walters on this week. Seriously eyeing off Best or Mitchell, either will give me Ctr and 2RF cover through Capewell.

Thoughts on Best as a high price cow? At worst he goes up 100k in the next 3 rounds, possibly more. Seems high upside with minimised downside due to being able to cash out if he flops.

I can't afford any guns this week - looking at Williams or D. Brown as a cut price POD. Leaning towards Brown.

Teo looks in decent shape from the training pics.

Hes been signed to do a job. Coverage while all our 2nd rowers are out and for his experience around the group.

Do you see Drown as a keeper? He's been looking good but I think he's still in for some very low scores. They smashed the Titans and Broncos and he got a try against the Sea Eagles. If the attacking stats dry up he won't get the KMs to save his score right? Not a cash cow either. If you can't get a gun in, would it be better to bring in a cashie, build bank and get gun next week?

I probably won't, but I've had a bit of a look in the same direction. Pearce is a good price. I can't do Luke Lewis even with all those kick metres.

Further, i think if Teo was able to play a game or two in Q Cup before this week then he'd be starting instead of Oates..

Whats the go with the Broncos getting the shitty Thursday night slot 4 games in a row to restart the season. Hey NRL, would love to watch my team on a Sunday afternoon and chillout with some BBQ and Beers. I guess the Sunday arvo slot is always going to be locked down by Sydney rugby league.

No Sunday games for the entire season for the Broncs home or away. Would have been nice to take the kids to a game this year.
