Grant is a great shout for captaincy option once he starts getting 80 minutes. Looks good for at least 50 points each week

Not since last week when Broncos confirmed his injury on their website - "Turpin has been diagnosed with a crack to his tibia and is expected to miss a month".

Realistic to expect he is an 80 min man for them going forward?

That was AOB's plan with Brailey, so potentially looking for the same thing from macca. Watson to rotate through the lock role as per pre season.. new rules make that even more viable as well.

Guess it depends if Macca can play well enough moving forward too.

Yeah I think Macca will get 80 most weeks. The knights were looking solid and Macca didn't look out of place.

Dean Pay has revealed star backs Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Will Hopoate could each spend time at fullback in Monday’s match against St George Illawarra at Bankwest Stadium.

What is it with coaches wanting to disrupt their spine throughout a game.

I'm thinking I can go Mann & Levi to Macca and Tommy T.. will just have to wait on a gun half, but in the mean time I could do some things with Paix and Fogarty.

I guess a gun half is a little more reliable than Tommy T though.. but if Macca can tackle bot like he used to again, well.. It does also give me WFB/CTR cover.

Apparently Souths are about to sign a 16 year old at $1.8M for the next 3 years, Joseph Suaali. Sounds crazy since he is 2 years away from being eligible to play, but I am guessing we will all want him in our teams in 2 years time at base cost.

I think fogarty will keep the 7 personally. Maybe Roberts will come back as a utility

Surely after winning their first game in 12 months, they'll keep the 17 the same for next week.

Well the Roosters did it with Minichiello and RTS back in the day. Rotating 2 guys between wing and fullback is better than having an extra back on the bench and spending a sub swapping your spine about completely (as Tigers and Dragons have done without success in the past)

I promise never to buy Macca again so he should go alright and not do that thing where he delivers slightly below expectation but never badly enough to be a priority trade out
