I’m stuck on the Macca pick too.
Brailey was slated as an 80 minute hooker despite Watson on the bench.
Macca is a tacklebot, and they seem the biggest beneficiaries of the rule changes.
If he goes 80 mins for the rest of the season, he’s going to find 50-60 points every game, currently priced about 41. Hard to ignore that kind of value.

Ronaldo Mulitalo underwent surgery for a torn meniscus & is expected to miss 4 weeks. Usual return to play for meniscus “trim” surgery 4-6 weeks. Quite the effort to play entire 2nd half with the injury last weekend

Stuck on this decision aswell mate, upgrading Brailey to either Horse or Macca. Leaning towards Horse at the moment, who would you go?

Probably Horse if I didn’t already have him. The risk is that if he plays only 50 mins he’s going to have sub 50 games and barely scrapes keeper. With 60 minutes he’s a certified keeper and probably averages around 60 in the front row. They split those two options 50:50 in his games so far. But there are plenty of good Hookers (and better than Macca). But aside from the obligatory Haas pick, a 60 minute Horse is up there with Klemmer and Twal as standouts in FRF for a massive discount. Big Pap is reliant on tries, I expect Carrigan to lose minutes when the cavalry returns, and Fotu probably a keeper but will struggle to find those 60 point games.

Either pick not without risk though

I’m lining Macca up for next week. I think he will do well. Currently I would have to go Friend to him though which feels a little sideways (unless he scorers 30 again this weekend and makes my decision easy).

What round are we expecting Carrigans minutes to drop?

    Hass carrigan

    Clearly Munster
    Crichton averillo

Depends on the money you are after, those guys aren't really the same, but id say

If you don't need much money raised
    Croft before Drinky

    If you need more money
    Papi before Leilua

Unless of course you're talking about the shit Leilua then 100% ditch him before everyone else.

It says Manly have won 8 of last 9 at Central Coast Stadium. Any stats on Turbo there? I searched back several seasons and couldn't find any games played there so were they ages ago?

Just a nervous doomsayer prediction. With Glenn, Fifita and TPJ all back in the next few weeks only two of them can soak up 80 mins on the edge, one of them (TPJ likely) needs to join the middle and play big minutes so there is less to go around.

He already went from 60 and 75 mins before the hiatus to 55 and 52 minutes after

Kid is a gun and likely a keeper anyway, but I fear he is going to end up low 50s whereas you can get people averaging low 60s in this bold new fantasy world we find ourselves in.

For what it’s worth, I’m not even looking at upgrading him unless I have aplenty of trades spare toward the endgame. It would be a luxury upgrade in any event

I think lots of people that were trying to get Cleary in this weekend have ended up spending the cash elsewhere. Love that he is staying around 12% ownership. Not on the Who's Hot list at all!

I really don't think analysing scores at stadiums is a worthwhile long-term strategy

For reference, they played Dogs at Central Coast though

I need to know about Mann. I have enough to go Mann to Turbo in a single trade so I'm leaning that way.

I'm intrigued to see if Burton comes on as straight swap for Luai or if he comes on for Api & shifts Luai to HOK. Could take some KM from Cleary. Though, I am looking at him for next week as have 400k+ ITB to upgrade one of peaking cows to pretty much any gun

Not to throw a spanner in the works for Fui buyers, but Sims said he will be back before the 4-6 weeks

I was tossing up between HTF and Young T but just read this in the late mail article re Young T.. Sounds like his job security is very shaky and could end up at centre? Or do we think that is not how it would be reshuffled once Roberts is back?

No changes to the 17 for a winning Titans team, but playmaker Tyrone Roberts (ankle) is named on the reserves and could come into the side. If he was slotted in at fullback, Phillip Sami would likely to shift to the wing with Brian Kelly, Dale Copley and Young Tonumaipea to jostle for the two centre positions.
