Mate what do you think is best for my side? Brailey to Horse or Macca/Robson.
I’m also looking at Wiliame to Paix.
So did Jai Field, but im confident HTF will go betterFinger Puppet Mafia wrote:HTB highlights from the Nine's earlier in the year.
Doesn't need too many of those to get the money accumulating.

Think he will go well mate. GGM went alright in fantasy and he was all gas, hopefully HTF can someThing extraFinger Puppet Mafia wrote:
True. Still nice video to watch.
Agree, not just really fast, showed great skills at pace, which is rare.\Welshy wrote:

The thing making it tough is all it takes even when/if Bateman gets back is for Papalii, Lui, Tapine or Whitehead to go down and then Horse still starts.mattnz wrote:
I think at the end of this season when Bateman and Watson are back, you will appreciate getting to keep Robson instead of needing to trade him out.

Re Macca, J. Brailey was getting 80mins til he got injured and Watson played a loose lock role off the bench. With Macca having good experience he will thrive off the back of this strong Knights pack and it’s quite likely he keeps getting 80mins as it’d fit into the game plan. He’s also a proven fantasy gun as we’ve seen before.
If I bring Robson in thing is he’s not proven yet playing long minutes so how will that affect how many tackles he misses as if it’s 3-4 he misses that’s -6 or -8 in demerits and how will he score fantasy wise playing these 60-65mins? Green loves a hooker on the bench too so there is no guarantee Robson builds up to 80mins, he could be left averaging between 45-47 which is not keeper level and he’d have to be traded out too. Also he was spoken up as having a strong running game coming up but he’s yet to really show that in first grade. Also take out those 2 tries the other game and you have 39 in 60 odd mins along with his 32 in 53mins the other night which worries me.
I already have Carrigan as DPP player in my forwards so getting a second in Horse couldn’t hurt I guess.
Also on another note how many hookers is too many to carry? Like everyone has Koro and Grant, then is looking at McInnes or Cook which is 3 hookers, is anyone looking at a 4th in say Macca or Robson or does having 4 hookers mean you can’t then have sufficient cover in your 14-21. Like what should be prioritised, should it be if it’s 4-5 hookers that score best fuck it and go without much cover or is cover in your 14-21’s absolutely vital that you you should carry no more than 2 gun hookers in your 14-17?

Yep but the game is faster now and we are seeing higher tackle counts and higher scores from tackle bot hookers.mattnz wrote:

Thanks mate. I’m probs best off getting Horse in then wouldn’t you say? Especially as Bateman is no guarantee to come back this season and Horse has valuable DPP. Even if he gets 60mins some weeks and 50mins the next an average of around 55mins should still see him average around 52 which is good enough for keeper level.Bethany_B wrote:
As for how many hookers, I'd say 3 is the sweet spot. I'm planning on selling Api to get CS9 once he caps out in price, since he isn't guaranteed 80 minutes and doesn't have goal kicking. Ideally my 3 hookers would be Smith, Grant and either McInnes or Cook for the last spot. If McInnes had 2RF dual like he does in SC, I'd go all 4 if I could.

I think I’m now leaning to Horse as he’s better longer term job security but Macca is so tempting.
Thanks mate. I’m finding it the toughest choice so far this season lol! I guess as they say it only gets harder from here ahahahahahaBethany_B wrote:
I'm really not convinced by Horseburger but we can't make the decision for you. I can see Bateman returning earlier than they're saying, he's done that before and is a tough lad.
Either way, trust your gut on this one.
