Taupau was a compound fracture, not a dislocation. Expecting 2 weeks.

Compound fracture? Like poking through the skin and stuff? Be at least 2 weeks wouldn't it? Regards, Dr Mulvy.

From this weekend I will have Best, Mitchell, Capewell and Crichton, won't need to worry about centers again.

"Star Sea Eagles prop Martin Taupau is expected to miss two weeks after suffering a compound fracture of his left thumb early in Manly's win over Brisbane on Thursday.

Taupau left the field eight minutes into the contest, while teammate Moses Suli could also spend some time on the sidelines after suffering a finger injury."

Looks like Downdates are in DCE down to 61, Staggs up to 46, not seeing any other highly owned changes.

Paix up to 35, which somehow seems a lot more acceptable than 34.

This is why it keeps surprising me that everyone is looking to go Pap to Turbo. Pap is basically the same tier as Turbo but cheaper.

If I could somehow get Teddy and Ponga I'd be more than happy to keep Pap in that third spot over Turbo. His scoring so far this year hasn't met expectations, but for me he's just generally so much busier and more involved than Turbo. Just gives himself more chances to score points, imo. For now it's not happening for him, but I'm keeping the dream alive.

Interesting evening. Taupau incident certainly creates a lot of interest in a few weeks as I really wasn't sure what I was going to do about that second FRF position. Could be a nice option.

Now I just need to figure out what to do with Paix. Not really interested in looping in Luai, but I think I need to give Kerr or Rudolf a chance to top that 35. Just not sure which one...

Foxsports: "Late mail: Dylan Edwards will not return from his hamstring injury. Liam Martin is bidding to overcome a leg injury. Jarome Luai needs to overcome a knee injury suffered against the Warriors, with Matt Burton ready to slot in if required."

Yeah, I'd be holding Luai, but not playing him. I've got him at 19 as a remote possible loop in, but realistically just looking for a bit more cash from him.

Late mail: For the Rabbitohs Junior Tatola and Jaydn Su’A are in some doubt, with both needing to prove their fitness at South Sydney’s captain’s run.
