Yep. Been hurting not having him but hopefully this forces some teams into some late changes and low scores after my poor performance last week.

We just need players back. Too many from our forward pack are still out. Hopefully Glenn is back next week and more importantly we get TPJ back. In a couple of weeks we will get Turpin and Fifita back and hopefully we don't get any more injuries until then.

A big problem is the halves though. Milford just isn't getting it done, despite two TA's tonight. Croft was OK but he was just bombing it to Coates all night and Manly had it covered for the most part. I don't know what is up with Milford, something isn't right to me.

The Broncos forward Pack last night is at least top 8 quality, apart from the fact they're so young. Keen as to swap some of your forwards for ours lol

    Andrew McCulloch  Player focus

After seeing McCulloch last week my gut is thinking he could have a bit of a revival.
I remember fondly the Ennis - Lichaa swap as a sharks fan so sometimes a fresh change of scenery is needed.
Ennis copped heaps prior to his move but he brought that missing piece when most thought he was spent. The year the sharks won the Comp he was probably the form hooker and played like it was his last game

McCulloch has had a bad run of injuries the past few years as well but seems fit and there is potential if the knights keep winning he holds the spot.

You could argue the recent few years of structure/role at the broncos may have stagnated his game ( as his short kicking/darts seemed to dry up after it being there before)

As for points if he plays big minutes (which is possible given hoy/watson is the super sub if they dont run Randall ) at minimum you know you are getting a heap of tackles and with the ball in play more then that helps him. The knights coach also values his defence

Had some spare time for the first in while (welcome to parenthood haha) and looking out the hospital window thinking he might surprise some
Being burnt a few time’s before but you need to remove that bias sometimes

If he plays 80mins I think 55-60pts ( career average is 57pts) is completely achievable
    Under 600k as well
The gamble will be can get lock down the role long term

Anyone keen on Ese'Ese? Seems to be preferred Lock now and played 56 minutes last week for a score of 56 only 483K and low BE so could be cheapest he is all year if he continues to hit 50's... plus is DPP?

EDIT: Could be an extremely cut price keeper for your final 17 bench hitting 50's

I might change my Kennedy to HTF trade to Kennedy to Ease E

EDIT: Can't afford it but if he hits 50+ this week he is first one picked for me next week.

That is with us missing Glenn Fifita TPJ.

    Name a better forward pack

    Haas
    Lodge
    Fifita
    TPJ
    Carrigan
    Offa
    Flegler
    Glenn
    Teo

Its way too forward heavy though and our team is struggling for it.

Thanks for the analysis Booze. I agree with a potential revival, he looked at home in a winning team. AOB must be happy to be able to run a "real" hooker in his team, instead of a utility. With Horse out I'll be bringing Macca into the fold this week.

Might be one of those ones where you take risk now and it pays off if form continues. Barnett, Fitzgibbon & Watson still due to come back (with Barnett & Watson playing some time at lock) but O'Brien may reward Ese'Ese with start if form continues.

Depends on what you do with the large difference in cash in following weeks

With the new rule changes these big forward packs aren't having the impact they were in rounds 1 and 2, hence, Broncos downfall as their backs aren't up to scratch with others in the comp.

Yeah well I can't afford him this week so I'll see how he goes this week and possible news on other players. If Ese'Ese continues form he may be rewarded, especially if it equates to a Knights winning formula.
