I’ve still posted my current side in the team tracker thread if anyone wants to take a look but no point yet going too in depth as there will no doubt be some curveballs thrown at us.

Amazing how an immunity win can clear the head cheer

    Stolen from Facebook*
Someone worked out a strength of schedule 5 week forecast. This was worked out by using the average amount of fantasy points scored by each team against teams they’ve versed which subsequently gave “strength of schedule”. It was worked out that Panthers have the highest average of points against them (inflated by the golden point game) and Eels have the lowest average points against them.

It was worked out that according to this method these teams have the easiest to hardest 5 week forecast for fantasy output.

    1. Sharks
    2. Souths
    3. Storm
    4. Broncos
    5. Tigers
    6. Titans
    7. Sea Eagles
    8. Dragons
    9. Eels
    10. Warriors
    11. Roosters
    12. Bulldogs
    13. Knights
    14. Cowboys
    15. Panthers
    16. Raiders

Obviously this method is very touchy as it can be quite unreliable but I believe there are definitely some teams that leak more points than others and it might help you make your decision on some players knowing they have an “easy fantasy roster” coming up.

Great, the Tigers have the 5th easiest run over the next 5 weeks. I sure hope we win a couple.

In mighty tempted to dump Lucy and Drinkwater this week to get Ponga and Talau in and sure up my WFB and give me a back up CTR. I can do it with $0 left over. Hmm....

If I pull the trigger it would leave me with:

    McInnes
    Haas Rudolf
    Tolo Yeo Katoa
    Cleary Paix/Fogarty
    Best Talau/Crichton
    Ponga Papy Kennedy/Hammer

    Koro Grant Friend Carrigan

    Paix/Fogarty Talau/Crichton Kennedy/Hammer Luai

Relying on Paix, Fogarty, Kennedy, Hammer and Luai to make you enough cash to grab 5 extra keepers seems a little short sighted to me. Those trades might leave you needing to finish the year with Rudolf and Katoa in your final 17, is that something you can live with?

Take with a grain of salt.. This measures teams on their ability to leak fantasy points to other teams. Panthers are around the top of the ladder but leak the most fantasy points... doesn't mean they are losing games

Any ideas on who becomes DPP next week. Twal is the only one I’ve seen mentioned.

I think I might bring in a POD this week. I am going to scathe through the team/players lists and see if I can find someone that is barely mentioned who will make a nice POD. I am constantly fluctuating around 300-800, hopefully if I bring in a POD I can make up some ground.

I'd still prefer to get the big guns, but in terms of PODs I like the 600k halves or RTS as value for money + good scores
