I think opposite. From watching the game Pereira was atrocious defensively. I am surprised the Sharks didn't exploit him more. He was caught flat footed or back peddaling so many times. He was beated way to easy. I said a few times during the game... WTF are you doing??

I can see why you'd attack Lomax/Rava instead though.

I assume we will therefore be looking for a big winger to replace him (heard rumours of Saab, but have also heard Saints won’t release him). How does this affect Talau, who really is a centre and not a winger?

Thompson hasn't played for a few weeks.

Probably wise to keep Pappy over Nofo though.  He is just pissing me off though.  Hess pissed me off too.

trading Papenhuyzen? he's averaging 40 with basically no attacking stats so far (in his 32 minute blitz against the eels last year he had more TAs, LBs and LBAs and the same amount of tries as this year) but he's a fullback surely you just ride the 35-40 point base stats out and wait for him to click

I know that. The fact he has left is not the issue. The issue is they will try to get a winger to replace him because our wingers are shit. No offense to Talau, but he is a centre filling in on the wing.

If a fullback hasn’t been involved in a teams attacking play for 5 weeks, it tells you something about his role in the team.

He was a bees dick away from two line breaks last week, so I’m holding. I just don’t have enough trades left to sell decent players when I’ve got Capewell and Drinkwater to piss off first.

I rewatched his game this week. Runs the ball from the back fence, really hard. Looks similar to maumalo, how he was getting tbs

Yep passes the eye test as a Mansour type winger. Anything like Mansour's rookie year would save a lot of hassle

Is Capewell to Best and Drinkwater to Mitchell with 45k left over a bad idea?

Drinkwater is leaking money, don't know whether to downgrade him to a cow or just shore up the CTR position now. Unfortunately the latter means I'll have to play Crichton the next few weeks.

Shit, I totally forgot I had Capewell lol.

Damn, swapping Capewell in for Hess or Pappy, I don't have enough. Back to the drawing board.

I'm just short on cash for some of the preferred trade options, but this one looks the way to go.
    Capewell > Mitchell
    Wiliame > HTF

    Leaves me with this team:

    Koro
    Haas Rudolf
    Yeo, Carrigan, Katoa
    Moses, DCE
    Mitchell, Lomax
    Papy, Drinky, HTB

    Friend, Grant, Macca, Mann
    Lucy, Luai, Fogarty, Fui Embarassed

Would have liked to loop HTB & Fui, but the fixtures don't line up properly.

Filling in for injury, just 1 week, could go either way, less likely than Talau to get wfb on merit and 2 weeks named there.

Shit mate that’s a bloody strong 14-17 right there. Those 4 hookers are gonna serve you very well.

I just posted my side in the team tracker thread mate your thoughts would be appreciated.

Yeah I saw Paps go close a few times in the first couple of rounds. Only a matter of time before he posts a big one (~77) and suddenly his avg is 45.

He averaged 68 in his six 80 min games last season, so we know he's capable. 11 games as a starter now (one at 5/8 ) for a 55 avg. 52 at FB.

I might trade him in SC eventually where we can only have 2 FBs and a billion trades, but seems pointless in NRLF.

It seems Best got a 3 point boost overnight too so his owners would be happy.

I finished with 1008 for the round thanks to Teddy and rank from 2338 to 1050.

Doesn’t look like I’m in a position to bring a gun in this week though so I will slide.

Let's say I do Capewell to back cow leaving me with 18 trades with 6 cows or mid rangers to trade plus borderline players like Lucy Horse Katoa. I'm looking at Wiliame to stay forever as handy looper.

What's my equation. How many cows can I bring in after 19th trade above if I want close to final team and 4 trades backup
