You so have to put this weeks scores into perspective right. Tedesco vs Dogs and Ponga vs Storm. 53 against ghd Storm is great.

Either way I reckon Ponga will come out with a higher average by seasons end. Teddy with more extreme high scores and lower end scores and Ponga just banging out 50-70 most weeks.

    Will be interesting to watch.
Paying over on Ponga vs Tedesco would of been a no brainer
In Teddy camp for me, already had Ponga due to perceived value with his poor half scores start of last year effecting his average. But his historical average playing FB with GK was still lower than Teddy.
I’ll always back Tedesco in a H2H against Ponga regardless of opposition

Currently 982, Teddy turns a below average week into an above average week. Starting centres and halves totalled 77 lol. Just inside the top 1500.

Next week probably need a HLF and a cheap arse CTR, but I’m going to not look at it until tomorrow night post TLT.

Do it Wolfie while you can if you have the trades. Teddy might get some 40's but on the other hand he may well ton up again.
I would not put the C on him next round though.

My gut was saying Nofo would have a quiet game. May need a couple of centres and a half, but will see what I can do haha.

The only reason I couldn’t get Teddy this week was because I had no half back up. Drinkwater’s departure is far more important than getting Teddy in. Getting Mitchell instead has softened the blow a little -this week at least.

Yep, with everyone focused on Teddy, they are less likely to be getting Mitchell this week Smile

He may score 100, how does anyone know? My point is he is very likely to score a lot of points so what he scored this week doesn’t really matter. I won’t be getting him in this week, but if I could afford it I would. I want him in my side, and his price is very unlikely going to drop drastically so you may as well do it sooner rather than later.

Over to you. Just seems like a points chase and you are paying premium. Do you have Ponga already? If not, he's up against the Broncos which would be a decent bet for next week at around 50k cheaper

one that might fall under the radar for a trade in this week is Cleary with his average performance from earlier in the week. Bit like Tedesco. Can give you a 30 then a 100 a couple of weeks later, and everyone then says why didn't I bring him in.

Muppets like me who have no chance of affording Teddy will have to focus on Mitchell, against every single amount of better judgement I've ever had.

I keep hoping I won't be able to afford Latrell, but I'm pretty sure I will be able too. Please, future me, don't do it to yourself...

It will be interesting. If Knights keep up the form, I wouldn't be surprised if Ponga ends up averaging more than Teddy. Not saying it will happen though

I started with Ponga. Getting Morris this week is chasing points, getting Teddy this week seems logical. Alas, most of us have bigger fires to put out -my centres are okay, but my halves need sorting out. There is no point waiting for Teddy’s price to drop!

I have Ted and not Ponga and reckon Ted will average more, but the advantage with Ponga is he'll play absolutely every game when fit because the Knights need him, while Ted will definitely miss two or three over the season with the Roosters rotation policy and squad depth aimed at freshness for finals. So if you have Teddy you'll be taking your EMG WFB's score a few times.

Teddy's gunna be out of my price range, guess I'll see if I can turn some combination of Leilua/Capewell/Drinkwater into Mitchell/Pearce and wait for that to blow up in my face.

Updates are in, no change to Teddy 111 and Friend 58. Crichton with 82, Flanagan 68.

Hopoate down to 26 is very good news
    Averillo after updates 36

Turbo is not Ponga. Ponga and Teddy play and score similarly with Ponga more inclined to participate in playmaking duties.

Whilst I still think Turbo is a good player, fantasy-wise, he is not the same calibre of Fullback. The reason Teddy and Ponga are so good in fantasy is their running gets them easy TBs, opportunities for Offloads and Linebreak Assists. Turbo is a great supporter and can run a good line but he doesn't have that same fantasy factor. RTS probably the closest to those two, but not in the same tier due to being in the 12th best NRL team

So it seems if you’ve got Capewell there are 5 options (obviously depends how much you got spare and wanna spend at centre)

    Best
    Latrell
    W. Hopoate
    Talau
Averillo (JS shakiest of the lot)
