All I need is a 30 from Averillo and it’s worth it lol, I’m essentially picking McInnes over Mitchell and Macca

I'm thinking of these cheeky PODS instead of macca:

Pearce, Turbo, RTS or TPJJJJJJJ.

Macca was a 55 point player in 80 mins with the broncos. Might be just a good run for him.

I might hold and if Lucy is out I can flick him to Robson and continue on

McCullough or Mofo?

If I get McCullough it means I have Grant, Koro, Friend, and McCullough, ideally all as keepers (Friend potentially a luxury upgrade once everything else is sorted) and resign to not having McInness/CM9/Cook without risking team balance.

Mofo means I can push Carrigan to the bench and have better FRF/2RF coverage, also gives insurance incase Leilua is out.

The amount of J's you've put in TPJ is probably the amount of times he's going to be suspended before the end of the seaosn

But if he averages 55 he is still great value, no? Priced around 46? With likely upside on 55 average with the new rules

I want to ignore him because it doesn't work well from my team make up but from a point per $ perspective I can't move past him

So torn between going Crichton and stacking my 2rf (Matto, Lolo, Crichton, Lucy, Katoa) and hoping Teddy/Ponga come down in price later for a swap later one when cows have peaked or getting in Ponga now to stop my WFB scoring shit (have Turbo, Papy, Drinkwater, HTF).

No way Friend keeps getting 80mins either, there will be a plan to lessen his load, question is when!? Glad I don’t have him saves me the stress. I wish I could be pondering over who to bring in besides a centre but pretty much every week my issue is centre.......

Yep trying to get as much content as I can, so have been trying to listen to the OTL podcast, the offical NRL fantasy one, and the 18th man as well.

You can replace friend with literally every forward in the comp. There is not a single forward who plays 80 minutes every single week. Everyone gets a break at some point.

Get up to 70+ minutes and that is fine in almost every case

Like, he only had 11 runs for 60 running metres last week- pretty poor for a “premium” fullback. (For an unfair comparison, Teddy made 23 runs for 231 metres; Turbo 18 runs for 167 metres; Ponga 17 for 154)

Previous good score against the Storm was a little better- 14 runs for 136 metres.
21 tacklebreaks over those 2 games seems largely unsustainable.


Anything else? This isn’t working and I’m considering a super sideways Pappy>Latrell

Is this just based on how much coin they've lost so far this year?

I'd be looking more at a different of current priced average vs last 3 average.
For instance just because Hodgson and Reynolds have lost $100k, it doesn't mean they're worth getting and will rise $100k in value again.
McCullough, Reynolds and Nathan Brown are the ones that interest me on that list but realistically Macca is the only one I'll get because I see the most value in him.

Who was the last fantasy relevant Cowboys center? Their game plan just doesn't give them big scores often.
