Farnworth a 212K cow playing in Ctr for 4 weeks and possibly Wing moving forward... Hope he can jag a try or two over the time with Broncos big guns returning.

My 2rf is SET for the year... don't have to look back now.

Just need to focus on solidifying my WFB now.. Hopefully can do in 5 trades and then one more gun FRF which should only take another 2 trades after that. Then I should be done. Will have a solid 1-17 with a possibly 18th man loop and 8-10 trades to finish out the season.

Obviously doesn’t happen that way so will probably need to keep 2-3 trades spare to get the final team I want so let’s say final 21 and 5-7 trades to finish out the year.

    Let’s do it.
    How many trades left now?

    So you don’t have Hamiso?

    Very sorry chaps if this stuff has already been mentioned but a few points I found interesting on a late mail SC podcast I listened to this afternoon. Please take this all as unsubstantiated, but a few rumours;

Tyrone Roberts likely to be fit to play this week, meaning he will allegedly take Fogarty's spot.

I don't know if anyone else was paranoid about this, but I thought Grant pulled up really bad after a very early try saving tackle last week. I thought his shoulder/arm was done, but he played on, thankfully. Didn't hear much about it this week at all, but it was mentioned on this podcast that he was "in doubt, but likely to play." Probably doesn't impact anyone as we all own him, but a point of interest.

Moylan likely to be rested for a couple more weeks with Hiroti to make may for Bryson Goodwin on the wing. Trading Kennedy out, like I said earlier, will haunt me until the end of this year.

Clifford apparently in doubt too, with Hampton the likely replacement in the halves if he doesn't play. But this one didn't sound overly likely. If it happens, though, surely that means only good things for Drinkwater. I assume Drinkwater then does basically all kicking? If it happens...

Again, please don't take any of this as fact... just some interesting rumours from the podcast.

Not interested in Yeo for little more expensive?? His value (not price) has probably diminished a bit but he should continue as close to 80 min lock

Hmm I was going to trade Kennedy out this week but I could really use him this week and would miss out on easy cash. Just not loving the uncertainty but does seem likely he starts this week. Might have to reassess

Just did a quick planner to get to my final team and this should be my team after R11

    After R11 Team should be
    CS9/Cook/CM9
    Haas Gun
    Lolo Crichton Matterson
    DCE Moses
    Lomax Crichton
    Turbo Gun Gun

    Koro Grant Carrigan Lucy/Katoa
    Cow Cow Cow Cow

9 Trades Leftover…. Can update CTR’s to a gun if wanting to.

So it will cost be 8 trades to get here. Can do it earlier but I think I will have a week in round 9 where I will be holding trades and allowing cows to get some more money. Doesn't always go to plan but here's hoping money and trades falls in place and I have my final team for the last 9 games of the season and 9 trades to run it out.

For all the Pearce talk no one really seems to be mentioning Munster for 100k more. 54 average last year compared to Pearce's 45 (DCE had a 57 for comparison). Third highest point total for a half this season so far, Storm look to be figuring it out.

I'm wondering whether it would be wiser to downgrade to someone like Averillo/Farnworth or just go with a red dot for looping purposes.

How solid is Macca JS? i assume Watson coming back in month or two doesn't impact him too much?? I only want to bring him in if there is enough comfort he keeps getting the majority of minutes

    Checking again. Thoughts appreciated

    Teddy or Latrell this week?

    Clune or HTF

Latrell and Best set and forget CTR hopefully

HTF can loop his score if Crichton no good.

If got Teddy have to play Crichton so may as well get Clune

Have you double checked this? I cant get the cash gen needed for a final 17 until well into the back half of the season. The 4 guns above will cost maybe 3.5m - there'll likely be a big $ gap between who you're upgrading and the cash you can release from cows. Sorry to question it

Look Im not the best at making a fantasy outlook, I normally play it week by week with a slight eye towards the future, so there probably is a gap there somewhere... Having 9 Trades left after this quick guide probably gives me 3-4 trades as a buffer to make up that extra cash between some guns/middies/cows so essentially will probably be left with 5-6 trades and a final team in about R15.

Is it still worth trading in Best and in a related question, how many Knights is too many 🤔

I wouldn't deliberately trade in a red dot at this point.

The time may come when you'd much rather 15 points from a shitty WFB rather than a guaranteed 0 just so you can loop a couple of times

I think it's too late personally. I'm actually looking to trade him out at max price in a couple of weeks. Would require a centre to pop up however......

Marsters plus a bit of cash would be a nice option
