Time to bring in two severely underpriced players and cross the ol' fingers. My cow and Gun strategy could leave me short players come season's end.

What a shocking round 733 with Turbo to go so I hope he scores 250 points. Selling Drinkwater to buy Tedesco was a burn & my boy Twal doing his knee lol. The fantasy gods have been kind to me lately but this round they have reminded me who the boss is lol.

And also I wake up this morning & dad had pissed all over the kitchen floor probably thinking the bin was the toilet lol.

Maybe Brown can build a team for a year or two and then get sacked for a more successful coach?Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:
Could the Warriors attract someone with a record of success?
They feel like a Bournemouth in the EPL. Need to find a good young coach and give them a chance to build.
What I 'm saying is that there is still hope.
With Kearney I had given up on the Warriors.

Mann - Subbed after 60 for precaution? Might be Tevaga from last year and keep playing injured and scoring well.
Twal - Suspected MCL.
Musgrove - For some reason he's here.
Teddy - Knocked unconscious for a short time.
Friend - Copped a headknock but stayed on, keep an eye on.
Judiciary:
Luai - NRL says he can "afford" a ban if pleading guilty, think they mean avoid.
Carrigan - 1 week if entering early guilty plea.
Oh and Staggs - Grade 2 hammie tear
This was excellent, cheers

Todd Payten will be the interim coach.
Brown isn’t that bad
He coached a Dragons team that was a game short of a couple of GFs, and it really was too soon for him to be coach.
Huddersfield ran better than usual with him, St Helens got a title
Newcastle were a dumpster fire and he deserves some credit for laying the foundations for what’s happening there this season. Most of the players were his signings, including attracting Ponga.
He seems like the middle 90% of Ricky Stuart coaching career tbf. There’s a fine line between success and failure.
Also it’s the Warriors, unless they go completely left field who are they getting

imo robbo isn’t gonna play teddy against the dragons. We only rested teddy last year post origin because we had 2nd place locked up. Robbo is gonna gun for 1st/2nd/3rd this year due to their poor start, so don’t expected teddy to be rested like last year unless it’s the last 3 rounds and their spot in the top 3 is secured. No origin helps
Just saw the highlights and the fact that teddy was unconscious for a bit. I didn't mean rested I meant if he's unable to play due to his concussion. Still can't believe pearce played the next week.

Looks the best of the Broncos backs. I think he is a good chance of holding the spot

Really hard to tell with Broncos. They are losing badly and change is coming. Who knows what Siebs will do. None of Coates, Arthars or Herbie has really put their hand up to claim a spot. If Fifita was fit already, would have expected Glenn to be in the centers instead to get some experience out there.Mulvy wrote:

Mann is an odd one because he was having a great game before he got taken off and it wasn't that big a lead that they had to just chill and put Hoy on. One to watch, the previous week Hoy came on to play 5/8 and Mann went to Lock.

No worries mate A lot of carnage to Titans backline (Thompson headknock, Sami hammie and Young T knee), so might be fantasy relevant replacements next week, but then again it's Titans.
I should've listed Katoa too. Injured his ankle in the 1st half, but returned in the 2nd, possibly somewhat forced due to Burr and Fus failing HIA's.

Pretty sure Musgrove was a HIA in the end although FOX commentary called it as a knee injury originally. Not one of those dodgy HIA's for a replacement, he made some pretty serious head contact.
As a Friend owner I was happy he stayed on, but amazed that he did.

Best v Crichton
Fogarty/Clark v Paix
The 50/50 calls are not going my way at all this year.

With Paix and the Fog I have both.
Paix is unlucky, no-one could have seen that coming and we all assumed we were getting 4 or 5 weeks of solid price rises.
The Fog could have gone multiple ways. Great Ressies scores from memory but, well, he plays for the Titans. Also so many Halves or potential Halves at the Titans, he could have been gone again the following week.

Held staggs this round, think he might be a sell even if he is back in a couple of weeks. Real risk of re injury etc

Yeah fair call. Problem is I have Paix, Luai and HTF as my cash cows so probably need to get rid of 2 of them this week. Whoever I get will probably be shit anyway

Yeah sounds like 3-4 (counting this week), but all too often those hammies keep acting up.
I had him at some point in the past, don't think I've ever jagged one of his good scores, and hate the Broncos, but no doubt he's got some talent, hope he can overcome the injuries.

779 with Turbo,Rudolf and my ace up the sleeve Averillo to come, hoping to crack 900. In hindsight bringing in Mofo and Latrell would have net me 80 odd points over bringing Teddy in but I panicked in case he went big again
