Oh well, I only have 14 trades left and can’t afford to burn another 2 and only have 41k spare. I don’t want to play with 16 and kill my ranking either so I’ll have to take the risk and make one trade bringing RFM in. I would have got Lawrie but I’m 12k short. Or I could go Sione Mat but he’s burnt me before.

Elliot is more a middle player to me than edge.
Agree on Elliott being a middle player but some one is moving and roles and pack will change to include the middle Thompson. RFM is a risk because whilst playable in a 17 if trades goes later in season every chance he gets dropped or back to bench and becomes useless so requires another trade down the line

J Turbo the safest option. Murray if you fancy he'll get good attacking stats.

    Mine is:
    Api
    Haas (C) Mofo
    Yeo Hess SMat
    Moses Cleary
    Mitchell SCrit
    Ponga Drinkwater HTF

    Grant Robson Rudolf Kerr
On holiday - Best Katoa Carrigan Wiliame

    Grant
    JTB, Haas
    Lolo, Yeo, Leilua
    Mann, Moses
    Averillo, Aitken
    Papenhuyzen, Ponga, Crichton

    Rudolf, Koro, Macca, Luai/Clune

Going to loophole one of the HLF's for like 30 points or so. Hooray. Aitken was an attempt at a POD pick that flopped big time last week but hey he is available so I guess I can be okay with that for this week.

Was looking at same players plus Friz and Matterson. Going Turbo because I don’t own any Sea Eagles and he’s a load cheaper with room to get back to 55+

Scored 9 tries in 17’ 4/5 of them from now until end of season be a nice booster

On a non-fantasy note Issako got the axe and yet Milford and Croft remain.

Adam Elliot doing OK, although Luke Thompson's imminent arrival might put his spot in doubt

Other than that its really POD punt and hope for the best on maybe someone like Kikau

Cheers guys atm I’m looking at Turbo > Horse to cover and add some depth which might be needed. Obviously he’s a trade out later but I don’t trust any of the cows this week and don’t want to force it.

I poured all my cap into 4 guns early in the season (Haas, Lolo, Ponga and Teddy) but now can't see where I get the cash for any more. Sad

If Horsey can stay around 50 average then might be able to run him on bench end of season mate, valuable dual

I think I’ll take the gamble I may need to waste a trade on him down the line as I don’t wanna waste another one now to bring in a cow as there isn’t any really great stand out cow to me right now.

If Thompson plays lock then I’d say Elliot goes back to the bench.

I’m gonna use Milchy’s rule here re RFM that if he’s named to start second row even with Thompson in the side that RFM will still play big minutes.

When is Thompson due to play his first game for the Dogs? He may well play his first game off the bench as well.

There's also Nathan Brown at $626k who might be good value if you trust his injury/suspension likelihood

I would’ve preferred Lawrie as he’s a PPM beast (DPP too) and with James Graham gone I think he will get more minutes. But I’m just short cash wise Bang

Yeah that’s the ideal situation, this season just seems to want to hurt people though haha so can never feel truly comfortable.

At least it’s a single trade and I can field a team so that’s probably the best thing to do
