Yeah I already have Fuimaono, he's like my 2nd string back-up, but with Carrigan & Katoa out I might need him to lace up the boots.
Just for team context, it's either this starting 17

    Koro
    Haas, Rudolf
    Yeo, Leilua, Matterson
    Moses, DCE
    Lomax, Averillo
    Papy, Drinkw, Mitchell
    Friend, Grant, Macca, Fogarty

    or this

    Koro
    Haas, Rudolf
    Yeo, Leilua, Fuimaono
    Moses, DCE
    Mitchell, Lomax
    Papy, Drinkw, Ponga
    Friend, Grant, Macca, Fogarty

Can you go with option 1 and play Fuimaono over Averillo?

Pretty much. Is it too much to ask Talau to become the To'o off 2020? Wink

Any draft players getting in Thompson early?

Talau passes the eye test on potential for tbs, job security/injury concerns are the down side

If I played draft I would absolutely grab Thompson. Upside to be a 700k tier scorer

Thompson comes in with BE 40 (Fantasy site appears to be using a MN of 13,750)

So can probably afford to wait a week, even if he starts at lock from the get-go. He's much cheaper than Taupau (who many of us are eyeing off), even if he kills it first game. If he does go well, change Taupau plans to Thompson (or get both)

Looks pretty good... His previous average starting prop and over 40 minutes is 34.75 in 44.75 minutes per game (only a 4 game sample size)

He is averaging 55 since the return... and has two scores over 50 without a try. Tempting... Just wonder if his output drops back or he keeps it up.

Probably priced around 48 (13500 MN) so still pretty underpriced.

    Yeah that's possible.
Looking at the fixtures, with the rolling lock-out and the l**p I can see how many points Fuimaono scores before making my trades Wink
If Fui scores 30+ I'll probably get Ponga. If he is abysmal I'll go Matterson or maybe JTrbo (as you mentioned before, save some cash for an upgrade down the road)

The Tigers injuries might also help his minutes!

Was eyeing of Taupau in the next couple weeks but if Thompson passes the test and looks good for big minutes at Lock he is in my team. Bit hard when Tolman, Elliot, Jackson, RFM all play big minutes?

Twal going down brings in Eisenhuth and Elijah Taylor, who can both play big minutes, so I'm not sure Aloiai will necessarily benefit, but can't see why he won't at least maintain average

Any idea of fantasy stats for Thompson from SL. He seems really hyped in here. My mate here from Wigan says his St Helen's fan mate in UK doesn't rate Thompson that much as a player
