I thought about Aloiai but a couple of those games he had tries to just get to mid 50s so not sure if 55 is sustainable. Maybe while twal is out but what after Twal returns? You going to trade him out or will he be a keeper?

Tries is a good point, I overlooked that.

Long-term in an ideal world one of him/Carrigan gets traded out, maybe to Twal when there's about 50-75k in it.

In reality that seems like a luxury my trade balance will not allow.

Horse is a similar option at 9k less. But same problem of being a questionable keeper.

Talau looks like a good trade in for Paix with Jennings out indefinitely.

Yep. Trade I'm considering. Which allows turbo to Ponga.

As a Tigers supporter I wish I knew...part of the problem IMO is being moved away from Brooks' side which he tended to run good lines off of

guess I just consider Musgrove a cash-out now, not worth the trade to milk the 50k I got out of him

Thinking about Katoa... the Warriors site seems to suggest 3 weeks and returning in R10 is pretty likely so I have made my mind up on the Luai v Katoa debate. I will be happy for Luai to post a 45. That’ll do me. Start up some more cash rises*

*disclosure: he is in my EMG.

Would you loop Crichton or Luai?? (Farnworth the other)

Does Averillo keep kicking goals this week? trying to pick 2 out of Crichton, Avo and Talau but it's so hard with this dogs team list. Holland is freaking me out

I've reluctantly decided to run with 16 this week. Holding Twal and hoping for a reversal of injury luck.

    Katoa to Jurbo
    Turbo to Talau
$200 odd k in the bank

I had a really good look at trading in a couple of mid price 2RFs to run with 17 but couldn't get comfortable with any combo. Oh well

NRL Physio: Robert Jennings suffered a high grade hamstring tendon injury & is expected to miss an “extended period of time”. High grade + injury to tendon usually at least 8-10 weeks recovery

    Talau's spot to own now

I like Murray because he chips away with solid scores, flying under the radar, then goes BOOM, then chips away before going BOOM again.

With Murray back at LK, I think his gun status has been reinstated.

Avg 56.3 last year and Jake 54.5.

Can't go wrong with either of them tbh. I've been an owner of both the last couple of seasons. Murray a lot more fun to watch though.

He was originally picked in rnd 5 on merit. Only missed last week due to a hamstring strain.

Obvs hamstring may be a slight concern

They do have hoffman in the 21, probs means nothing but may be there as cover for talau specifically

Taking a punt on a midrangey 2rf for this week to let me bring in taupau for Rudolf next week.

    Tturbo > Talau
    Paix > Elliott/Lawrie/???

One reason I’m thinking of leaning towards selling Twal is he’s so boring to watch

Eventually the excitement of him being 3rd man in on his 50th tackle wears off

I guess that's another way of looking at Twal, Rudolf covers his spot and by the time Twal is back then Rudolf has pretty much done his job cash/role wise
Probably costs you 20pts a week to hold but you probably gain that long term over the rest of the year over any replacement (Save a valuable trade too)
Carrigan can also fill in there other weeks if you have further cover and may get lucky with some cheapies in the 13-17

I don't need the cash this week so worth holding

TLDR: Twal can't be replaced easily, save trade

Im thinking of going this way. It may be the week that Lomax gets a gross score up against roosters, can do they dirty and put talau ahead of him if so

Still may go Niu if i sense a fun score against the titans

Prefer Matterson for a higher floor and similar role.
