Think he's a pretty good option if you don't think he's going to rip anyone's eyeballs out again

Thoughts?
Option A) Moses to Cleary, Horse to Taupau
Option B) Hold Moses, Horse to Cleary, Williame to Niu. I won't need to play Niu barring injury.

You just said you were dumping Moses and getting him back in you howler! Can you keep Moses and run a decent half in his place?
Huh? The two have nothing to do with each other. Butcher has job security issues. Moses is injured, it's a re-injury, he'll be 3+ weeks and will then drop in price to pick up later. He has no job security issues. And like I said in the previous post, it's not really two trades in and out, it's one injury trade and one upgrade which was always planned. And no, I don't have a decent backup half unless Luai counts. I don't think he counts.

I've been convinced to avoid Hughes, had a look at his results last year and they weren't crash hot either. If I bring in Esan/Morris (still not convinced against JMoz, however that might be my Roosters pride clouding my judgement haha), I'm still lacking some HLF coverage. Think that's something I should be worrying about? Is it worth taking a punt on Jai Field for some coverage, or hold out and just make a trade if I need to replace a half?Milchcow wrote:
I'd rather have Niu and $200k than J Morris, although I understand your point about not wanting someone who might be dropped shortly.
For that price I'd back Esan Marsters to outscore Morris over the rest of the season. He had a shocking -5 a few weeks ago but is normally reliably going to get 30+
If you've got a bank roll, ARey and pearce are good upgrades for half.
If you have patience Mitchell Moses for the back half of the year is also good.
Happy to have some patience and just sit on Nikorima for now, however I fear his results are going to suffer with the current Warriors climate. Love both ARey and Moses as players, so am happy to wait for their return as well. I guess I'll just monitor Nikorima's progress and if I need to, just jump on Pearcey as a decent keeper for the rest of the season (praying for no more injuries).

You mentioned with trades running out as to why Butcher is a bigger risk to yourself but your wasting a trade to bring back someone you already have in 2/3 weeks. It’s not an upgrade. It’s a sidegrade and a wasted trade. I’d keep Moses and play a stop gapMulvy wrote:

Tesi is going to have to average 40+ to be a worthy cow, or are people keeping ?

I missed him. He could be a better option than Butcher truthfully.

Treating him as a cash out that might get a run for 25 points at some stage. Anything else is a bonus

The hard to take thing about having a Moses/Munster halves pairing is that not only is it a little bit poddy but I feel like most teams really gambled not owning him against that Warriors (enter Papman) and yet have less than zero to show for it, now spending a trade only to catch up to people pairing Cleary with Mann/Drinky and similar.
It’s the luck part (bad In this case) that will always be there!

For mine neither are keepers or cows so I'd pass on both. Don't have the trades to be fooling around with mid rangers

I'm wary of Butcher due to job security. I have no such concerns with Moses. I'm trading him because he's injured. If Moses was 4+ weeks would we even be discussing this? I think he'll be 3+ weeks, and that's a trade in my book. Mann will be upgraded when he peaks. Who I trade him to will be the best value gun I see at the time, and I suspect in four weeks, that will be Moses, and the guy I bring in won't be someone with poor job security which is the point I was making in the first place. I don't buy the argument it's sideways. We'll have to agree to disagree.
