Was Butcher but now possibly Young. Sticky loves him and should see the 80 minute edge role long term. Don't see Bateman coming back for a while.

Price pretty much irrelevant

Butcher is a better scorer but job security at lock is dicey at best
Young unders on scoring but better job security

Risk in Butcher is how many weeks you get 50+ vs Young 45-48 but longer term

Sure if he holds the role he would have to be rubbish to not make 150k. I just don't see myself having the trades to get him back out again down the track

Cash mate won’t matter if you are getting him as a keeper. Unless he gets injured

The only thing that concerns me is Cowboys tough run of fixtures might mean more MT

I think he’s safe from Granville as didn’t get dropped after awful performance against Tigers

Ah right, yep decent option as a cash out, and if he happens to make some cash you decide later if you wan't to trade him out again once you know how you are travelling for trades and injuries.

Yep it would be harsh to drop him from one bad game, where the "badness" was primarily poor service from dummy half, and his service from dummy half is normally excellent and the guy you are comparing him to is Jake Granville. New rules definitely suit him, and tougher match up conversely could mean more tackles.

Fuck, completely forgot that RTS is up against it this week. Rewatching it, it's hard to see how he has a case unless he goes with "bracing himself and not attempting a tackle" but I think that's a pretty thin defence (ironically much like the Warriors).

RTS will most likely be off the trade-in list this week
