A thing to consider with Young is Tapine shifting to edge for Sutton/Havili at interchange

60pt floor and loves a dart
Old man Smith might get some kicking stats with Munster out and 100k cheaper too.. Hmm
Hasnt McInnes scores come down the last 2 weeks on the back of his role tweak?

Have to try something, you are in with a shout too and much better setup than me.

He played the full 90 on the weekend. I know Horse got tranquilized and I didn't notice him but I'll back him for big minutes. Tapine usually plays shorter stints at lock. Can see a 40/40 split between Tapine and Havilli at lock.

Surprised Smithy hasn't had more interest. Not much ownership among the top ranked teams either

Price differential between Butcher and Young is 43k and 3.3 points mate, Butcher should beat that (45)+3 in 55-60 minutes if he takes the Radley role and Robinson doesn’t make positional minute changes. It’s positional security vs longer time role I reckon in Butcher v Young.
True but I said 45 with the occasional try. It's the occasional try which gives his price a boost for cash cow. I think you're right in that Butcher probably scores a little more but I don't think it will be enough to be a keeper. Enough to be a cash cow? Maybe.

Ya see, LB agrees with me, Niu is a Cow

Yeah thats what I was worried about with that dropoff, maybe looking into things too much now
The guy in first has basically my team + Cleary/Cook and before the 4 trades.
Horsburgh out but he can swap out for Young and Katoa+Rudolf easily become a keeper FRF + cow
So don't think I can catch him without doing something

Might have to go old school Captain Cam, another year older and closer to retirement and keeps banging big scores out
As long as he doen't play in the halves haha

Its more that he had a couple of weeks of extra high scoring and is just reverting to normal. He's still got a low score of 66, he's doing great

Easily one of the best C options.

I got FOMO on Robson, who I can afford, but scared of having a four hooker bench and no cover

Oh yeah sure, but just from what Boozey was saying he wants to captain someone who could potentially go above Haas and looking at McInnes average for the year, as good a shot as any though in terms of captain pick to chase with.

What is your plan to upgrade the bench?StormTrooper96 wrote:Next week barring injury I have a way I can get Teddy in, without pulling my team apart too much.
It involves using a pairing of either Leilua + Rudolf + 63K or Leilua + Luai + 63K > Tedesco and Cow
I have estimated each of their costs for next week and have come up with the following results.
My predictions -
Leilua (score between 45-50) 613-620K + Rudolf (score between 35-40) 468-474K = 1,144,000-1,157,000
Leilua (score between 45-50) 613-620K + Luai (score between 33-40) 425-433K = 1,101,000-1,116,000
Tedesco (score between 50-60) 895-900K + Cow 212-228K = 1,107,000-1,128,000
So using this presumption and a little bit of luck to go my way I can trade to Teddy next week, assuming a cow appears.
My team would be
Grant
Haas Carrigan
Lolo Matto Angus
DCE Cleary
Lomax Talau
Ponga Teddy Papy
Koro Young 16-21 between Rudolf/Luai, Farnsworth, Niu, Crichton, HTF, Cow.
The bench is awfully shit!!! Am I ripping my team apart too much. Should I just wait?

Is it my turn to gripe again yet? The timing of these extra trades is extra annoying.
I had about $200-300k warchest for the last 3-4 weeks, and I finally decided that I’m wasting it by having it on the sidelines and spent it all last round. Now as I look at my $20k, I can’t help but think about all the serious moves I could make if they did this last round.
...or even if they just warned me and said it would be next round. It’s the “surprise, motherfucker!” element to this that I detest
