Not from what I seen! I pushed SST last week and again in week. With Butcher popping up starting lock and 100k less then the talk with him and then Young. If SST maintains those minutes he’s the next Fotu.
Yeah, he made one sneaky comment about being interested, wasn't an indepth discussion. He looked really good. I've been burnt by him before, so reluctant to take the punt, and probably better paying slightly more for Taupau.

Everyone was throwing out players so I threw one out.
Think I owned him 2 years ago when he was kicking goals. Didn’t go too well from memory haha

Just shows they are not even close to doing their job properly.
Butcher had a missed tackle that was removed in updates. He definitely missed a tackle.
Without whinging, the quality has definitely gone downhill. Things are being missed on the regular. Not sure if its covid related, may be cutting costs. Maybe staff have taken pay cuts and hence don't care. I mean, its a shitty low paid job to begin with.

Do I abandon my never Latrell again feelings and get him in for Dogs game. Means I have to get Niu who I'm not convinced on but max cash out. Also means I have no Half or FRF cover this week (Croft and Hetherington were alternative trades).
With Latrell in back 5 is
Best Latrell
Pap Teddy Ponga
(Crichton Niu Averillo HTF Farnworth Wiliame) lol

It was clearly called and replayed in the last few minutes of the first Half. Nines stats have it down and their call has it happening in the 40th minute.
I get it's 2 points and I get I can be percieved as salty, but I very rarely complain about Stats. I mean this wasn't a subjective TB or a 1 metre miscount on metres gained, it is a 100% objective stat that was literally called by commentators and the Ref.
I thought he might have been charged an error instead of penalty, i may be bias because i captained him this week but i didnt see him make any errors

I don't think you need any more backs mate.

You're still going to have to use their stats. And if you think you can do your own stats you'll find out how easy it is for people to make mistakes (and that you no longer have any free time at all)

Every season I say I'm not going to waste trades on cheap backs. Thing is rest of team has been chugging along ok not needing much attention until Horse and Moses died

I thought a fair bit about Jai Field. Three of his four 80 minute games last year were when Corman was out and alongside Bhunt who was doing all the kicking.
The other game was alongside Darren Nicholls, who seemed like a genuine 7. I assume this was when Corman and Bhunt went into Origin.
If he gets half the KM's he can add to his base stats that look around the early to mid 20's.
I assume Guth will goal kick, but Field also goal kicked in a couple of those Dragons games.
So a lot of potential upside that could see him move to mid 30's/40ish, but also none of that may happen end he may stay in the 20's.
Yep, who takes on the kicking role while Moses is out is definitely the biggest question mark and a big gamble to take if it turns out Field does none of the kicking.

I don’t looked those cheaper options mate.
I would go Sironen or take a punt on Hetherington.
Just really not sure on those two guys. Job security is one of the most vital factors and I don't like either of these guys' job security.
DarkKnight wrote:Teeth out of those options I think I would go McIntyre or Jollife since they could become useable down the track should they be needed. Then out of those two McIntyre leaves you with more cash and his centre availability is a nice bonus. It’s weird talking about him as he has the same first and last name as me. Tripped me out when I first saw him available a couple of years ago in dream team. Back then I used him as a cash out as good luck.
He has been the one I've been leaning towards most the time, before making that post. I think he probably is the safest bet. 3K cheaper than Croker too - bargain time.

So apparently I missed a good game last night?
Without reading the posts my commentary will be
Omg I can't believe Papenhuyzen didn't get his tackle break!
Storm only won because the ref let them, (something to do with set restarts)
Tedesco is amazing
I can't believe that player didn't get a LBA for that!
Haha, nailed it buying Nat Butcher!
(disclaimer: I own neither Paps nor Butcher)

Not to mention the work involved in building out a platform to run the thing. Would be fun to work on 'full time' but that ain't gonna pay the bills

Realistically, any of them are going to be better than Paix
Turpin is due back next round, so even if Paix does get some gametime this week, his time will be reduced in coming weeks
Personally did Paix to McIntyre

Yep have had a couple of mates work for the stats providers and it's a time consuming job. Especially doing all 8 games as well as getting the app/site working seamlessly would be quite a challenge. Happy to help out if and when needed.

Two things:
1) Great post.
2)Now I'm going to have "turn back time" stuck in my head all day.
