NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 54 - Everyone scores 1000 edition

13 trades left for me. $82k bank

13 players I’d absolutely run in final 17 based on current form continuing (Brailey)
15 players if I can keep 2 of my current CTR crop scoring at current rate (Talau, Niu, Lee) even Averillo

2 trades which I absolutely want to make are Drinky - Moses (next upgrade) and Young - Matterson/Tevaga/elite 2RF

Main Issue is cash generation with HTF, Averillo, Niu, Lee with dodgy cash making prospects due to role, HTF not currently selected, Averillo/Niu/Lee toss up if they keep positions/come back into sides.

I need a decent cow coming along soon and confident it will happen as usual does mid-3/4 season.

1 decent aspect with team is I now have most of the elite players and some Of the big time differentials

McInnes/Haas/Taumalolo/Cleary/Ponga/Tedesco even Fotu.

If I can find that golden cow soon though I’ll be much happier

I'm 884/14 with Ponga, Mann & Best. I think Ponga & Mann can nab a 50 each but my round depends on Best having a stormer & maybe having the week off will see him very motivated & hungry for tries. Then I have no players in the final game so Ponga, Mann & Best have to perform to offset the fall in rank.

Best and Latrell going huge today. Can feel it in the loins

I've submitted my write up earlier, would have been about 3.5 hours. I am WFH, (work from home) so I have alot to make up

Haven’t been home since 8 ladies and gentlemen. Missus (inflatable doll) is under strict instructions though we have to leave in the next 15 though to be home for the game

This is very similar to my situation yet slightly better - you have 1 less gun left to get, and a couple more Uber guns in. Same # trades, same questionable centres, same cash gen issues.

Ridiculous thing is B Lee is now crucial for me in terms of squad balance - if he doesn’t come back (likely with how Momo has gone), then I’ve lost my WFB cover, which has a domino effect for the rest of my team.

2 trades to burn in my WAGs team.  What do we think.

A.  Play Suli and Mann.  No trades.

B. Trade Suli to Avo and get Luai's score and play Mann.  1 trade.

C. Trade Suli to Avo and trade Mann to Taupau, Klemmer, Murray or JTurbo.  2 trades.

Which one?

Those 4 trades really did shake things up this week didn't it haha........
Any weakness the top teams had with injuries or deadweight have now gone

Sure some bad luck for some still this week, but basically reset the comp so anyone looking for big gains might have to wait a few weeks for some more injuries/form/changes to kick in again
Also don't have bye hurdles which could catch some out as well

Will be interesting to see where things land once the round finishes today and the dust settles
Even max trading 10 trades is enough to get home from here, heck most were down to a handful after the bye rounds in previous years

To be honest can't really take this game too serious now, a bit of fun ans something else to do while waiting for thursday kickoff


Anyways looking forward to todays games, should be a couple crackers

Still feel like there is a long way to go with it only being round 8. 12 weeks is a lot of time for carnage, role changes, injuries and form

Agree. I fucking hated it, and this shows why even though I’ve made strides because of it!

Without the 4, myself and vast majority of teams wouldn’t of been able to get Tedesco. They just got 82 points. Just a single player who most got in who now have benefitted massively on this week. Not only the huge points but now the massive price tag added if you didn’t get him. Massive cock up

Yeah why not.  Mann scoring good and his time moving into the forward rotation at the back end of games helps his score.

Hopefully Avo comes back......
