I think your back 5 are fine mate. Latrell, loop, Teddy, Ponga, Pap.

Just sell off some cows in a week or two and get the gun forward? Save those trades for now if your cows are making cash.

Seriously looking at Ponga>Angus this week to sort out my sorry forward stocks and Ponga was putrid last week and not much better the week before. Crazy? I've got 11 trades left and I prefer look of my team with Angus in it
Have to wonder if Ponga is carrying an injury. Doesn't seem like a guy that wouldn't put in effort, but seems to have patches like at the moment where he just isn't very involved. Really hard to understand what is happening.

I know right. Failed the eye test badly last game. Hence my thought of jumping off with possibility to buy back cheaper later

I watched the whole game saying frequently FFS Ponga and he got HIA with 15 mins remaining

Would anyone advocate Ponga > RTS if you own Teddy?

When a player has a huge game some convince themselves that the score is potentially the norm then when a player goes low there is always an excuse as to why they went shit, when in reality it’s exactly what this game is about! Highs and lows, especially in the WFB position

Meanwhile I keeping looking at Butcher. 48 in 54 with a bit of a knock in the first spell is not bad. Average 48 pre six-again rule in 50+ minute games. Every game starting at 13 is 50+ mins. Trying to pick young forwards to take the leap is my weakness. What’s not to love?

Does JFH lose perceived value if you play him at 2RF as opposed to FRF

My trades are Wiliame to Niu & JTB to 736k 2RF (JFH, Tevaga, Jurbo, Murray)

Is it dumb to take less owned player (Tevaga if start, JFH) over Jurbo given they're likely to score similarly

Even though I argued against the original Liu discussion last week, Robbo come out with a comment after the game regarding the lock position so out him in murky waters for me mate and I grabbed Young, so no turning back for me now

Anyone that doesn't have him still is looking at the 89 BE nervously Laughing

I'd be relieved if he only scored 45, but he could easily go 70+ and waiting for a small price drop isn't worth missing those points.

If someone feels they have a definite read on a player, then should probably go with it. I'm always a little bit suspicious of players that are first-time guns, but that's not the case with Ponga and without origin/byes I see no reason to trade him.

Cowboys spent the entire game kicking away from Ponga so he didn't get the normal junk points on kick returns. Nature of the position he will have ups and downs, which is why the general rule is to start with gun forwards and then get the gun backs as they drop price. Once you have him I wouldn't be getting rid of him

Roosters coach Trent Robinson said captain Boyd Cordner "would've passed the HIA protocols" needed to face the Cowboys on Thursday but it was decided he needs a one-week rest "because he treats his body with disdain".
Roosters winger Daniel Tupou is expected to miss around eight weeks with an ankle syndesmosis injury.

As someone who grabbed both last week that comment scared me a little. I am kind of happy Liu was given another week, gives Butcher the chance to put in a strong showing against the cows and hopefully give Robbo no choice but to stick with it. Maybe those comments were to give him a bit of a push as to say look mate just cause Radley's gone doesn't mean you own this spot... Well I hope thats the case anyways.

I grabbed Young but I still have no 2RF cover (currently starting Carrigan) and can’t see a clear path to get 650k+ for a more reliable 2RF without compromising the rest of the team. Would be a huge gamble. Alternatively can hold JTB, he should only lose about 15-20k and hope for the best next week in terms of something opening up

Man, L3 is no joke huh?

I'm sitting 9th on the ladder so need to start making a push.

Just when I think I have a nice score I look at my L3 opponent and they've got me easy.

If it was round 1 I'd take a gamble on Hall. Averages in the 30s without tries playing on the end of the best backline in the comp
