Lol settle down you two. First of all I’m ready to wear it if I fuck up and run out but my team isn’t far away. Second of all I may not end up doing it,I know he was on track last week but Lucy hasn’t cracked 50 in 6 weeks so Jurbo/JFH I think are a 5-10 point better player than him plus I need to get rid of Clune as he is deadwood along with Averillo it seems

You could hold Lucy, but he's probably peaked. Personally the only reason I'm not fussed on the trade is because Jurbo/JFH aren't renowned (as far as I'm aware at least without actually checking) for big plays and scoring tries, just seem a bit boring. But that's also why I missed guys like Yeo and Twal unfortunately. I like the big play potential of Lolo, Fifita, Crichton, Matterson and it's fun to watch them while you play fantasy.

    12 trades left 299k itb.

    Api
    Haas MoFo
    Lolo Young Butcher
    Cleary Pearce
    Latrell Best
    Papy Ponga Lomax

    Carrigan JTB Aloiai Grant

    HTF Crichton Niu Musgrove

Atm I have Latrell and Best as starting centres, Papy, Ponga and Lomax as my WFBs and Crichton, Niu and HTF as NPRs with 237k to play with.

Thinking of pushing Lomax to centre and bringing in Teddy at fullback with someone like Field as a NPR. I have 299k to spend on the NPR replacement for Crichton.

    Thoughts?

I like selling Best, I like waiting for Ponga, is there an intermediary trade you can do?

What's the word on Stefano @danseels? Must be a good prospect if you are bringing him in.

could go Best>RTS.. that would bank me another 10k and should be able to do a straight swap Pap>Ponga in a couple weeks.

Only going from the few games I’ve seen,he’s definitely a talent. I guess the fact that he’s signed elsewhere may be the reason why Gower/Alvaro were ahead of him in the pecking order originally bit injuries have forced our hand. Just my personal opinion but I think he will be in the team at least until Kaufusi and Stone are back(5-6 weeks)

I’m in a similar position and will be sorting my 2RF before WFB. Ted is too expensive at the moment for me.

Yeah that would work if you were intent on selling Pappy at some stage. What I mean though, is doesn't even need to be a WFB is you can cover it for a week.

Eg Best (high BE) to for example a low BE value 2RF you want.

Next week, sell different peaked 2RF to Ponga.

Or similar, disclaimer, 2nd glass of wine.

Yeah agree with everything you have said, hence why I’m back and forth about it. Yeo was a good example,I jumped on board straight away as I know he pumps out scores albeit in a “boring” way. God I’d love to have Crichton next to Matto in my 2RF but the only way is by dumping Papy and that means playing HTF(shudders)

Yeah HTF won't be near my 17 again unless I'm extremely desperate.

Yeah was just a thought really. Any position of course, doesn't need to be WFB or 2RF, was just an example. You know this already anyway.

I’ll put up my team after adding Norman.

    Koro
    Haas, Mofo
    Jurbo, Murray, Leilua
    DCE, Norman
    Crichton, Talau
    Teddy, Ponga, Pappy

    Grant, Robson, Carrigan, Butcher
    Luai, HTF, Niu, Paix

So that leaves me 10 trades and Leilua and Butcher that need upgrading. I’m sure some of you will say Crichton and Talau aren’t keepers but I’m not moving them anywhere while they suit up

The dpp for JFH just tips him over I think. Or spend a bit extra to get Angus
