And 26% voted for Best as the best Rookie over Grant, don't think it would even be up for question.

    Option 1: Latrine>Ponga   +1 Saved Trade & $56k itb
Option 2: Latrine>RTS    Su'A>Havili  +$310k itb and can basically get anyone I want in the coming weeks

I've jumped into the top 50, and next couple of weeks will decide if I can keep my team good enough to stay there, or whether I slowly slide away.

Latrell, Friend, Young, Talau are the players with most dubious short term job security in my squad.

Think I'd like to keep Friend - if he can just stay fit he's a keeper but a few injury concerns in recent weeks.

    Current team is

    Grant
    Haas Mofo
    RFM Jurbo Carrigan
    DCE Cleary
    Crichton Niu
    Ponga Tedesco Pappy

    Koro Friend Robson Young
    Fogarty Hammer Latrell Talau

Taupau hasn't scored over 50 since round 3. Under $600k but is he going to score well enough to be worth it?
Hunt looks good value but in the positions I am least interested in at the moment

Taumalolo, McInnes, Matterson, Crichton, Cook would all be good additions to the team but not sure they justify the cash.

Fifita and Twal on the watch list for when they come back. if I end up with Hunt probably skip Moses, unless he's replacing an injured player

There's literally a dozen things I find surprising about this. When Moses is the 4th best half but the 5th best overall player, it shows it's all a bit silly.

Only trade this week is fuimaono to Hampton. Just to free up cash and for his dpp cover for my emergency bench. Also frees up some cash before fui loses it all.

Gonna ride out the season with Best in ctr. Wish me luck

I wanted him last round as well MS but piked it with Lomax and Ponga up in the air and the horrible HTF's 9 staring at me.
JTB and Latrell for Havilli and RTS will do for me this round.

Hampton probably going to be a permanent red dot after that defensive display against Ikuvalu.

    I'd rather 0 cover than cop a -5.

Probably should get a prop in so can move Carrigan back down... But, Hunt and NBrown roulette are tempting.

Its all well and good for regular punters to line up by the hundreds to get into the Golden Sheaf, but NRL players doing that sort of shit puts the comp in jeapordy. Have to do all we can to avoid what's happening down in Melbourne

Not counting on it, but where's that bloke to captain him again?

Titans, Broncos, Knights and Dogs next 4, so I rate him a pretty good chance of getting there soon.

Set and forget WFB, couldn't go wrong

Looking well set to continue on your rise IMO. You could easily just move young to whichever gun takes your fancy and run the other 16 the rest of the year. Fogarty and Latrell(Niu) are good enough depth outside the 17

Best is dead to me so trading him to for RTS or DEdwards - will see where the TU/TD thread ends up on that one.

    Gives me the following:
    Grant
    Haas, JFH
    Jurbo, Lucy, Young
    Cleary, Pearce
    Ramien, Niu
    Ponga, Pappy, RTS/DEdwards

    Robson, Brailey, S Crichton, Sironen
    HTF, Paix, Guler, D Saifiti

Saifiti likely goes if he's out 3 weeks or longer, and becomes a keeper FRF so I can leave JFH on the bench. If Saifiti is only out 1-2 weeks he's a hold. Is Guler the best trade out in that case? Paix probably needs to go too. Guess HTF stays as he hasn't gone up enough in value to cash in. I know 2RF needs strengthened, but think waiting for Jazz/DFifi is the best option. Probably cash out Guler to get ready for 2RF upgrades but no idea to who.

Before trading out Best I'm sitting on 13(2) trades, with 223k ITB. Any ideas/suggestions much appreciated!

Funds are going to be sparse and some of us will have to lower our sights regarding trade-ins. I have Young as well and was not inspired by his performance last round
so his money making potential is limited and he has the Chooks this round!

Don't they just get tested, come back negative and continue playing ? Benji hugged the reporter.
Wife works with a woman that was at the Crossroads and tested negative. Forgot to ask if she's back at work or self isolating

EDIT: Jake's parents will now be re-tested on Sunday 19th of July to receive a clean bill of health and Jake will be unable to train or play with the team until that date.
And the bird at the missus work is self isolating

HTF - he's just lacking confidence & playing in a poor performing team doesn't help. I'm hoping has a break out game that will improve his confidence & then he'll be away similar to what S. Crichton & Niu have done.
Talau - I need him to come right soon but if he plays he'll make cash with a b/e of 2
Wiliame - I'm happy to use him for the loop so he's handy & he's too cheap as a trade out. This week I can use him to take the best score out of Young & Fogarty.

This year I've gone for the tactic of getting in guns early so I'll be using my 11 remaining trades for this or injuries.

multiple.scoregasms wrote:Going to be a rough week trade wise for me and don't think TLT will solve anything

    Option 1: Friend>Havili, Drinkwater>Ponga

Chase another short term cow in Havili(18th man) with plans to upgrade him in a few weeks. Leaves me with roughly 50k but significantly upgraded scoring in WFB

    Option 2: Friend>Havili, Drinkwater>RTS

I hate trading in players after a big score, but he still seems the best value of the gun WFBs. Leaves me with 170k to jump on Ponga/upgrade Young in the next few weeks

    Option 3: Friend>RTS/Ponga

Bank 1 more trade, move Fogarty into 17, Drinkwater 18 and grab a keeper. L**P my final WFB slot between Herbie/Drinkwater/Crichton in the short term

    Option 4: Bank trades

This is my least favourite option in the short term because it means I keep playing Drinkwater and Friend's cash generation has stalled. Still thinking Friend gets a rest in the next few weeks, but seems a waste to be running Fogarty as 18th man while playing Drinkwater and Herbie at WFB

    Leaning towards option 2 atm

My 2 cents. You know how I play the game, so option 4 is out, you have trades and you can improve your team with them, so you should use them. I don't like option 2, because you're essentially looping shit with shit most weeks. Normally I'd be all over option 1, but as a Ponga owner I'm very much concerned by the concussion thing and it would spook me a bit as a trade in consideration. RTS is value, last weeks score doesn't really matter, although it's good that his price should be on the way up, because if he gets injured at some stage you'll have better trade options the higher his price goes. I think options 1 and 2 are both good, without the concussion risk I'd lean towards 1 but the concussion thing makes it close. Think I'd still rather have Ponga, but not by a lot.
