Would expect him to build up to it. His price won't go up, could easily drop.

If I didn't already have 3 set WFBs (Ponga/Papy/Teddy), I would be all over Dedwards. He's got his confidence back, and plays in a gun Panthers side, compared to RTS who is carrying a pub side.

If we had more trades, I'd be selling Ponga to Dedwards for a 2 week punt, as he's got the Cowboys and Titans in the next 2 weeks.

Appreciate it mate - Technically have 10 trades left - just not sure how to get JTB out... Could potentially go JTB -> Havili? And then if Ponga drops 20k this week i can go Mitchell to Ponga next week?

Can't really afford anyone with JTB (D Edwards is max i could go to?)

JTB to Havili is better, but the team you posted already had Ponga - did you mean Taupau/someone else?

FWIW I like the look of Edwards, Panthers are firing and he benefits. It's a punt, but not a bad one

I'd be interested to see if Eisenhuth keeps spot when Twal returns. When Twal was fit, for some reason Eisenhuth was on outer and not being selected, but he's done decent job since Twal injury

Could potentially take mins off Twal if he is on bench and plays lock role, rather than prop role

Hmm...this gives me the confidence to try and hold trades too.

Whoops, that was meant to be Papy....

JTB to Havili leaves 9 trades and means I'm 20k off Mitchell to Ponga, and if ponga drops that 20k this week might be worth it

Is anyone considering holding Best or is everyone jumping ship?

I feel like last week was a really bad match up for him. He's scored really well given early ball against a sliding defence, whereas Parra have very fast up and in defence which shut him down well. I can see arguments for both hold/sell tbh.

Tigers have to be better playing him at prop with Aloiai. Twal was playing amazing before his injury, made over 200 tackles without missing one, tackling at 99% efficiency for the season, unheard of.

I was thinking the same today as I need a final WFB and Ponga is still out of reach, but then I looked at the breakdown. He scored a solid 40 in round 6 with no tries, and his massive score in the round just passed. Both very nice. But the two scores inbetween were 43 and 44 both with tries. That makes me a little nervous.

Don't get me wrong; seems like a decent purchase. But if I did it it'd be at the expense of Ponga and I think I'd prefer to still try and grab him next week, hopefully. I can get him this week if an actual proper 212K option pops up. Unlikely.

As for RTS vs Edwards... can't decide on that one either. I get the ladder position of each team, but I still think I like RTS a bit better. I can't imagine RTS scoring 43 or 44 if he adds a try to his tally.

Teeth, was it not you that last got burned 4 weeks in a row after trading him in and said you would never trade him in again? I could be totally wrong, may have been someone else.

No mate, your memory is excellent. I did say that (that was two years ago now, lol - I'm impressed). But I caved into myself last year and bought him after his horrid patch was over and done and he was actually quite pleasing to own after he got that out of his system.

And I mentioned it earlier this year. He seems to go through horrid patches and I never want to be around for one of those again. But, he does seem to come good and then goes on a pretty good streak. I got on that streak last year and forgave him for his past mishaps. I'm not convinced this year with the state of the Warriors and what their mindsets must be like, though.

Seriously mate, impressed you remember that. Wink
