My WAGs team had Staggs as Captain and Carrigan as VC… Staggs was a late out so I got Carrigans 85x2.

Hmmm food for thought I suppose. Now leaning towards holding trades, would like to get Hunt but the only logical way is trading Young and Luai

Dunno tbh, Ofa has been pretty bad this season. Oates and Teo unlikely to have the legs to play 80 too. Given Haas comments it seems he's likely to stick to a 60 min role now (much better for us)

That means subs used on hooker, two props, and an edge or two.. someone has to play 80..

Alternatively Pangai may move out to an edge for a while, but I think they've worked out he's best in shorter stints.

I'll probably just stick to Haas

Hunt is tempting but a couple fo $k off doing Mann to him in 1

Curious as to what Rudolf's return will be this week with a move to lock and no Williams on the bench...anyone else holding?
Brailey may be an out with Tracey back on the bench but might give it a week
Young....Jesus you guys are impatient when there are bugger all trades left
Mann...again I think he eks out a few more $

Tried to manoeuvre Teddy in but the only way I can do it is Pearce & Latrell out and Teddy and >$275 dude in.....The major problem being the >$275k dudes available

    Any insights anyone?

I reckon Rudolf plays similar minutes but 2 stints instead of 1. Might mean higher chance of attacking stats as he is fresher

Very tempting while he is in that big minute lock role. I'd probably want to see the same rotation a few games in a row before taking the risk

Need to trade one of these out this week, who would you go out of:

TU: Young (bought in to make cash but his price may stall and not a part of final 21)
TD: Latrell (up and down but crucial wtf/ctr cover for the year once he's back)

Only trades I can see that appeal are Young & Luai to Havili & Hunt. Works out perfectly, 0K ITB. Is it a sign...?

    I'll probably just hold.

    From weststigers.com.au

Lebanon international Alex Twal is on track to be available for selection in Round 11 after he picked up a knee injury in Round 6.

Robert Jennings could also be back as early as next week too as he recovers from a hamstring injury, with the 24-year-old on track for a return in either Round 11 or 12.

I'd probably keep both (John Howard speaking) but if forced Latrell. He's not doing anything for a couple of weeks & you can probably trade him back in later on for about $400k if he keeps hitting thirties for a couple more weeks Very Happy

Young has every chance of hitting a 40 something and getting things going again

Yeah just leaning towards Latrell, he also gives about 40k more value than Young which helps I guess

Only thing that makes me want to keep him is for his DPP cover, but yeah like you said can always get him back for cheaper (trades allowing) or whoever else if one of my wfb/ctrs get injured later on

Watching him is also stressful so I want him out of my squad haha

Te'o didn't do any preseason training and only joined the squad late in the break between round 2 and 3. My money would be on his fitness still being off the pace

I don't know really, may just depend on how the game flows. Oates probably closer to pushing out 80 given he played there last week and is hopefully building up the fitness for it. Hard to see Teo lasting, he hasn't played more than 30 mins yet and is a larger build these days.

Teo would be pretty tempting if I could trust him to hold onto the edge spot over Oates (when Fifita comes back in), but we've also got Lodge to return which may mean Pangai back to edge as well..

Personally I think Pangai's best position is on the edge, but the middles need to be doing the job for that to work. Until then he may as well be in the middle of the park.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, so Oates could play 80?? Or get subbed too?
