Why not punt on Starling then and free up almost 100k? I was thinking of maybe doing this with Averillo but with Canberra playing 1st I won’t know in time if Averillo is playing or not

Yeah that’s an idea. Would be nice for Starling to be moved into the starting lineup before kick of though haha

keep being tempted by Oates, with Glenn out long term and Fifita out a while longer, putting a 311k likely-80-minute edge forward in my WFB for a few weeks with that whole CTR/WFB being a complete mess seems like a no-brainer.

    Hi All,

Been away from the site for a while and just been doing my own thing with my team

though with trades and cows now running pretty low I thought I'd ask for advice on my current team

I was planning on saving trades this round
but as the games draw closer my palms are itching for the trade button

    let me know your thoughts

    Grant
    Haas Mofo
    Lolo Carrigan Yeo
    Fog Cleary
    Talau Niu
    Paps Crichton Lomax

    Api, Robson RFM, Young
    Rudolph, HTF, Latrell, Moses

    9 trades 380k

Fifita would replace Teo anyway right? Would Oates be safe until Lodge is back with TPJ then shifting to edge??

    Lomax, Niu
    Tedesco, Ponga, Pappy

    Koro, Carrigan, Su'A, Rudolf

    Paix, JHop, Tom Eisenhuth, Averillo

Maybe Havili plays the first 20 to take the sting out of things and then Starling sees out the rest of the game. Would then allow Havili to come on to spell Tapine when he gets gassed.

    Just an idea.

Yeh he would, just think in that scenario Oates would go to a 60 minutes role, still decent value for the outlay mind you, and i don't know about the make-up when Lodge returns, I think TPJ is best utilized in the middle, were I Seilbold i'd keep him there and use Lodge as a bench forward, with the change in play and constant interruptions, he seems a step behind this year, but then I'm not Seibold, so who knows.

Looking at top teams, most have Mofo/Klemmer/only a handful with Tauk. Need some punts to gain some ground.

Mofo crazy consistent so will need to mull it over a bit more. Cheers

Yeah I think he's a decent punt, particularly if you only need to play him short term.

I reckon there is a fair chance that Oates actually sucks at 2rf and Teo continues to be solid and keeps the role over Oates

Yeah, very happy with my starting 13 but my depth is very poor. I'm praying for a base price player like Sironen to grab a starting role which would help massively, although it's unlikely.

Still tossing up Sironen, Starling, and KOD as potentials to finally move Wiliame on.

Might just hold for tonight, if KOD and Starling get a decent role I can still move Wiliame on next week, if not I'll probably grab Sironen.

Well he's never played the full 80 in the back-row in his career. Plus he's playing for a team that is constantly chopping and changing their line-up.

    Lot of what if's for a no-brainer.

Hey mate, pretty sure the story with Averillo is he can't train or play until his parents pass a follow up covid test on Sunday. With Dogs playing on Saturday he won't be able to play.

No idea why he's in reserves but that's the story I've read and heard a few times.

Anyone looking at a punt on Luke Brooks as a POD if he gets the starting role back and bleeds a bit of cash on the bench?

Came home with a wet sail last year, and Tigers have the Warriors and Bulldogs coming up soon.

Horror run to close out the season though... Roosters, Panthers, Manly, Rabbits, Storm, Eels. Probably not great news for Talau either actually
