Hey mate, pretty sure the story with Averillo is he can't train or play until his parents pass a follow up covid test on Sunday. With Dogs playing on Saturday he won't be able to play.

No idea why he's in reserves but that's the story I've read and heard a few times.

There was this on TLT on Dogs website:

In other team news Jake Averillo has been cleared by the NRL to be available this weekend after Jake's parents tested negative and with Jake not currently living with his parents, he has been given the all clear to train and play. Averillo has been named on the extended bench.

Yeh he would, just think in that scenario Oates would go to a 60 minutes role, still decent value for the outlay mind you, and i don't know about the make-up when Lodge returns, I think TPJ is best utilized in the middle, were I Seilbold i'd keep him there and use Lodge as a bench forward, with the change in play and constant interruptions, he seems a step behind this year, but then I'm not Seibold, so who knows.
When out of forwards, with the full forward pack back, far more likely he starts scoring tries on the wing

He's scored more tries at 2RF than he as at wing this year

This is me in the past, guaranteed to be hundreds of points behind. But yes, fun.

Ahh ok cheers I thought that might have been the case. I guess I have to hold him though as he is my only CTR cover and I only have the 8 trades as tempting as it is to get Starling in

A huge feeling of gratitude to have a community such as this forum to be able to talk nonsense on and off the field. Despite the poor product I don't see myself enjoying the game as much without NRL Fantasy.

That being said, good luck to everyone this week and hope the trades you do or don't do work out in your favor.

Re: Starling, unless you specifically need a 228k cashout to fund another urgent trade, you can wait a week IMO. Not like anyone needs hooker cover in their 18-21

Oh, wow, sorry, I'd missed that. Very good. Hope he takes the field. Having 21 green dots would blow my mind a little. Takes away any potential loop action and I'd have to pick and stick one of 5 very evenly average scorers, but I'll take that any day! I just hope he's selected now.

Man it's hard to find accurate info these days. Wink

Been away from the site for a while and just been doing my own thing with my team

though with trades and cows now running pretty low I thought I'd ask for advice on my current team

I was planning on saving trades this round
but as the games draw closer my palms are itching for the trade button

    let me know your thoughts

    Grant
    Haas Mofo
    Lolo Carrigan Yeo
    Fog Cleary
    Talau Niu
    Paps Crichton Lomax

    Api, Robson RFM, Young
    Rudolph, HTF, Latrell, Moses

    9 trades 380k

A bit low on trades, but I would suggest Rudolf to someone like Ponga or RTS

Wiliame supposedly back next week. Any chance he finds his way back into the side?

Currently, I have Su'A and JHop to Hunt and Starling locked in. How does that look for the moment?
I would kill for that back row.
2nd half and depth are your only issues, still got plenty of trades too.

I think he's likely to find his way into the 18-21 reserves as Lafai finds his way back to Belmore.

Team actually looks ok at the moment, nobody is going to make way for Will.

It is hilarious that I'll have him for the entire duration of his injury - not even deliberate red dot keeping for loop purposes, just couldn't find an opportunity to piss him off.

Is anyone running with no front row cover ? I’m thinking jtb and young to Taukeiaho and starling but only because I need a front rower, don’t necessarily want him.

I think the kid must have just kept developing, because went from a Centre to a Second Rower to a Middle quite quickly.  He’s been playing more a Lock role, standing a little wider on occasion, but defs playing that middle role and that’s what he looks like continuing.

I can’t believe Packer has been given another crack. Madge obviously wants mongrel, but Smackintyre looks like he’s got a fair bit of it as well.

Packer will try bait TPJ but will end up baiting himself and be in the bin by 20th minute.
