Seibold cops a lot of flack for mentioned injuries a lot, but it is what it is, Dearden maybe should be getting a run by now, but i went through our squad and the only other blokes in our top 30 who weren't playing or injured are Rhys Kennedy and Ilikena Vudogu. That's literally it. one's a run of the mill forward, the other is a winger whos played league for 2 years, neither are going to win us football games, the rest of our healthy guys are on developmental contracts and when we're being savaged as a bunch of kids who aren't ready for the NRL, the answer is not to throw more of those kids into the fire. how do you drop players when that's what you are left with?

You do it anyway because the alternative is a train wreck like we're seeing.

Missed the first game last night - any reason Pap & Fogarty played 71 & 70 minutes? Injury concerns or just taken off in a thrashing?

if you're dropping your big-money players for players scooped from the bottom of the barrel, you're getting a trainwreck either way.

Pap was just given an early shower, but Fog looked to be injured. Not sure if it was just a precaution or whether it was serious.

Corey Oates has been cleared of a compound fracture and should return in 3 weeks.

But hopefully then you keep a culture of accountability and possibly lose a couple of games and the big money players return with increased desire and respect for the jersey.

Rather than drop into this bottomless pit of boyd.

I can probably hold Oates. Pity that by the time he's back, there probably won't be a 2rf spot for him anymore though.

Knee injury for Fogarty. No updates on that yet.

Pap, early shower is my guess. Didn't see him get hurt.

What's happened to Flegler...the first 2 rounds he was one of the top 10 player scorers & since the re-start his form has dropped off the cliff. I thought the new rules would of suited him because he's mobile, has good feet & likes an offload but he keeps losing the ball all the time & looks shattered.

He scored 4 points playing 80 mns. Surely that's some kind of record for a forward although years ago when Mateo was in my team & playing for the Warriors he scored under 10 points but he didn't play 80 mins.

Looks like he’s trying to complete error bingo each game and try and complete every type of error possible

559/9c so far. Hopefully I get a few more big scorers this week. Still haven't hit 1000 this year.

The difference may be head space. Broncos looked great the first 2 rounds, had Fifita in dominating form, to complement the rest of the forward pack. When your team is getting thrashed each week and you don't feel supported by the guys around you, it has the potential to massively impact your own form.

I don't think Fifita makes that much of a difference. He isn't a bloke to take tough, inspirational hit ups out of his own end that swing the momentum. Every few games he will come up with an off the cuff play that puts them on the board, but he isn't turning around 40 point losses

When I played league over the years I played for some pretty bad teams & you knew on Tuesday traning you'd get flogged with multiple 400 metre sprints. Maybe Siebold has to go old school & just thrash his players. When I look at some of the Broncos players they look out of shape & not fit. A. Milford is a prime example.

What's the record for demerits. I think Maloney might challenge him for that and Darcy Lussick once missed like 14 tackles in a match.

We used to have the Carter Award shield for that.

It's surprising how much of a difference fitness training makes. Look at the Knights and Manly this year as an example. The squads are still incomplete, but O'Brien and Hasler make sure the yards are done in preseason to have the players up and ready to go during the season. The opposite to this is the Cowboys and Broncos. On paper both should be top 8 sides, but line speed disappears after 15 minutes of the game
