Thought I had my trades sorted to bring in JFH, but just realised I could get Cook if I double trade.

Option 1: Luai > JFH (Bench of Koro, JFH, Pearce, Joliffe - Junk 18-21 - 10 trades)
Option 2: Pearce > Cook, Niu > Starling (Bench of Grant, Koro, Joliffe, Starling/Luai - 9 trades)

Asi a possiblity in the second option instead of Starling - just not sure about his job security.

My squad can't hold Angus. Too shite. So, Angus and one of Fog/Luai gone.. depends on how long fog is out for. Still no updates there.

I'm sure Tyson Gamble has played FG before.

I think I'll hold Niu since he'll probably be back in 2-3 weeks. Time to finally move on Wiliame I think.

Solid plan, I'm with you. With Niu out still have the BLee - Talau dream combo, but I think I'd rather take the points hit if one of them is dropped as well

Oh I see Luke got a suspension. 80 minutes and 50 from Paix would be lovely

Paul Green leaving the Cowboys effective immediately.

EDIT: Already been posted, should've known!

Yeah same. I have McIntyre as back-up which isn't ideal but it's like what 25-30 points in a garbage position where actual centres can score much less than that.

Not going to bother with that position anymore unless I absolutely have to.

    My team is:

    Grant

    Fotuaika Haas

    Lolo Carrigan Brown

    Cleary Hunt

    Niu Talau

    Papenhuyzen Tedesco Ponga

    Koroisau Macca Jollife Luai

    Young Fermor Sironen Wiliame

I have 15k left and 8 trades left. I am thinking of going Luai and either Young or Joliffe out for starling/asi (probably starling) to someone either 721k if i trade out young or someone who is 675k if i get rid of joliffe.

if i do this i am left with 6 trades though and i will probably need two trades to go Fermor and young/joliffe to a 17th keeper which takes me to 4 trades left. i would then probably use 1 trade on starling to get a boom/bust 18th man and that would leave me with my final team and 3 trades for injury

Would be nice for Paix to cement the spot somehow, a nice wee fantasy gift.

Was thinking Luai > Asi but I already have Talau who can jump into CTR for Niu, the 230k sure is nice though.

Hopefully Averillo comes back into the side this week. Don't mind playing him in the centres to save a trade.

Turpin is training with reserves so may be fit to play (and would likely then start)

I don't even know if I'll play Talau this week v Eels, will probably play McIntyre. Bit of a waste of a buy with Talau for me, only played him once in like 4 weeks of ownership

Gah was really counting on Niu. Now as I slide Talau into my centres with no coverage, I am again reminded how season-defining selling Scritter was two weeks ago. Did it for a measley extra 150k to afford Crangus too, which makes it all the worse. I think in the coming weeks I will need to buy an SMat or Latrell just to justify my poor decision, or else I’ll be counting the points gap between Crichton and Talau every single week whilst giving myself uppercuts

I was actually considering buying Lomax lol just because he's consistent. Way too much money to spend on a CTR though.
