But in the next 1-3 weeks there might be a better CTR option emerge? Or something happens that frees up cash for a better option that exists now?
There's probably no right answer - a lot will depend on luck. A few people have indicated Averillo is a good shout, I think it's a bit of a risk, time will tell.
For me, in your shoes I'd take the hit and assess again next week. Would be looking at what's better for your team long-term with points and trades/cash rather than plugging one week holes at CTR.

Yeah, as of the end of the Round-my script won’t see people’s trades for this week.
I meant to give this a thumbs up but bottled it.
The only script you know about is for Viagra.

Next 3 games for Ted is Warriors, Titans and Dragons. That's a paddling.

Any thoughts re my thinking that choosing between Dugan, Talau, Avo and HTF for my last CTR and Last WFB is a lottery and I can basically choose any?

Put this onto the website for ease - https://footystatistics.com/ownership.php
I've only scanned the top 1000 teams.
If you want to see counts for the top 50 teams, or top 100, change the link such as below:
Top 100 teams - https://footystatistics.com/ownership.php?teams=100
Top 50 teams - https://footystatistics.com/ownership.php?teams=50
Thanks MTB love your work, your site is a game changer that's for sure.
For anyone interested (Mulvy and others close to the top) i did write down the top 10 teams and their 21's in basic excel, unsure on formatting I will try and put them up here tonight with a spoiler tag to not clog up too much room if anyone is interested.

Would you rather trade out Butcher or Young as the other one?
EDIT: The more I think about it. I might wait another week on Tevaga. See how he goes this week. If he gets a big score he won't go up by more than 20-30K
Doing this sets up my run home pretty well.
Lucy/Butcher/Luai/Fermor/Sironen/Farnworth + 180K will become FRF Gun/2RF Gun/17th Man/Possible 18th man (most likely boom/bust half) in the next 3-4 weeks and I shall have 4-5 trades for the run home.
Means my CTR's will be Lomax and Crichton
This week I also get to loop HTF and Farnsworth.

Butcher or Young has been a coin flip from the start. Need more Bateman info.
Agree with Bateman being the key to this decision.
I think Young is a hold this week only if he starts whereas Butcher still could be a decent scorer and won't lose too much cash just by playing. So would be much easier if Raiders played before Roosters. Or Sticky could do everyone a solid and make his plans clear 24 hours out.

@standard-issue you're a good egg
I won't be succinct in the things I want to say, will leave things as they are, but honestly the level of drivel seems to be increasing more then in seasons gone, makes the good stuff and good debates in here few and far between sometimes

I reckon it's funny thinking this will be your last CTR/WFB trade.
But you can get anyone under about 400k? I think there has to be a better option.

I just can't see a way of getting him for now, frustrating.
Back three is Ponga RTS and Papy. RTS has almost matched him over the last two weeks but I don't think that can continue, especially this week.
Need a centre this week as well.
I can tell myself that getting him now doesn't actually help me gain ground, just that not owning him can lose ground.
Got to hope that RTS can keep it close and the money I spent elsewhere makes up the difference.

Surely there's more chance Bateman plays lock than Young does yeah?
Raiders attack seems to be going away from Youngs edge lately, plus, I also think Butcher is either a late swap into the starting side or possibly being eased back in with the broken rib?

Today has been a good day.
Your team definitely has a few PODs from the other big dogs. Hopefully the luck falls your way.

If I had Ponga Papy and RTS I would at least be a little more confident not owning him, but I only had Papy Ponga and HTF/Farnsworth/Crichton. Teddy BE in mid 60's... if you're lucky enough he could go around 50 ish and lose some more cash.

Apologies, I have these guys in my team already and trying to choose who to actually play this week. Other CTR is Lomax and other WFB is Teddy and Pap

If Teddy scores around 60 for the next few weeks, I'm happy enough to not own him.. it's that nagging fear he'll put up another 100+
hmm 100% chance of rain in Gosford on Saturday...

I read that as all those players were in their team already and they were deciding on who to play this week
Would go Dugan and I think HTF
Eels defence is quite good (even though Talau matching up against weaker defence of Blake/Fergo) and Averillo could be anything

Yeah I think Bateman is more likely to (a) be one week off and cut 24 hours out, or (b) replace KOD at lock than replace Young. The forum reaction yesterday was definitely panic and sell though.
I also agree that Butcher is a decent chance of being a late start for Liu, same way Collins was a late start for Lui (via SST) last week.
If both those things happen, Young is the sell of the 2 IMO. But Roosters playing first makes it difficult

Oops my bad.
You have some good depth. Think you're probably right though - go with your gut and try and guess which two score a try. HTF one week 9, the next 58 sums it up
EDIT: My guess would be Duges and Avo, with HTF in the emergency spot if the Bulldogs play still buggers late.
