lol, how do they afford this?
Roosters don't pay overs for anyone, also the majority of our roster are either cheap young players or cheap older players (Morris twins, Aubbo etc) only big money players are Teddy, Keary and Cordner... JWH and Friend took pay cuts to stay with us also... its the benefit of having such a solid system and club... players will take cuts to stay while clubs like Titans have to fork out so much more money to lure players.... uncle Nick does't fuck about and refuses to pay overs... ask latrell... he was trying to cause a bidding war with us and was told to leave lol.

Has anyone got any updates on Edwards, like will he be back next week? I've got niu and him and I'm just thinking to play with 16 this week

Bateman lock would be ideal.Erin Moleman wrote:Thoughts on where CHN will even play with Bateman and whitehead on the edge ?

Same, but probably still not going to score that well against teh Storm.
FB is Herbie's preferred position however.
Just realised with no Isaako Herbie kicks goals.... not that they'll probably get the chance

Rugby League isn't played on paper. I'm expecting 1 of Storm, Roosters, Knights, Panthers to lose this week in their "bye round"

Will look at it if named at lock. Seems to be the season of 80 minute locks and he would be the best of them.multiple.scoregasms wrote:

We have seen what he can do in any position. I think he will be the number 1 POD in the run home with cash tied up and trades limited

I’m intrigued to see whether no Koro impacts Cleary in any way (+ no Edwards)multiple.scoregasms wrote:

So why haven't they played Herbie at FB yet? Can't be worse than...Isaako, Milford, Niu, and Boyd?

Rather tempting to bring in CS9 as I'm all the way back at 1.3k

If SBW to Roosters is legal, the NRL has the re-examine the salary cap, and how to acheive a better sense of parity, because a team that has been minor premiers or outright premiers more times than not over the last 7 years being able to buy the most expensive player in the game half-way through the season at the drop of a hat doesn't even begin to add up.

Seibold.
I'm pretty sure it's his preferred position.

Starting to think about holding 1 trade this week. Lots of unknowns around a few players this week. Might be safe to hold off and do the one cash out of Young to Sironen.
Butcher: SBW incoming? Where will he end up?
Angus: Worth holding?
Cows all still making money.
Gives me a war chest of 268K to assess next week.
I think I will ponder on Luai > Tevaga with the other trade or going for another cash injection by doing a pure cash out of Fermor to Asi/Starling hoping one of them gets an extended gig.
Grant
Haas Carrigan
Lucy Lolo Matto
DCE Cleary
Lomax Scritta
Papy Ponga Farnworth
Butcher Siro HTF ???
Angus Koro Niu Fermor

Yep just having the same thoughts myself. Might do Niu to Sironen only and reassess next week. Can hold fire on Tevaga, maybe look at Bateman. Only one that really makes a lot of sense this week would be Hunt but I think I'd rather keep cash for a gun 2rf who could be a POD down the stretch
