Thinking of grabbing Cook/CS9 instead and bringing Teddy in for Butcher/Young/Lucy instead

Brown was out early last weekend, why he played 80 I would expect.Snatchpato wrote:Most people have their front row set, whereas I have JWH still who could score 25-70 but is very unreliable so I want to move him on. Currently have a good feeling about RCG. He's playing more minutes, and I genuinely think it's because he's fitter than ever and playing the best footy of his career. Any Parra fans confirm/deny they feel the same way?
Thought it might have been Paulo out with back spasms which gave him more minutes but he played 60 last week and RCG still played 80. I think his norm is going to be more like 65 minutes going forward, but at a PPM of 0.87 for the season and 0.95 PPM for the last 4 rounds he's looking very enticing. If he maintains his recent PPM at 65 mins he'll average 62 for the season. Not bad for 682k.
In conclusion, eye test looks very good, stats are promising, price is good. If you needed a FRF would you consider him? I definitely am.

I’m now re assessing though maybe Starling is a no go.
I wanted to get Cookie in.
Team right now is
Koro
MoFo Haas
Lucy Murray Yeo
Cleary Pearce
Crichton Latrell
Teddy Ponga Pap
Grant Carrigan Taupau Young
B. Sironen Niu Hammer Magoulias
What would you guys do with this team?

(a) Cook & N. Brown in with $0 bank or
(b) C. Smith & B. Hunt in with $48k bank or
(c) Tevaga & B. Hunt in with 218k bank
Although going for Smith or Cook is very appealing I'm leaning towards (c) because the cash could be valuable at this stage of the season because it can upgrade my 16th & 17th men plus it gives me the option of just making 1 trade instead of having to use 2 trades. However B. Hunt & Tevaga carry their own risk & Smith & Cook are guns. Thoughts & thanks.
The question "What would you guys do with this team?" is too general. If you have ideas of what you are thinking of, we can discuss them.Rabbits21 wrote:

You can probably trade Koro to one of Hunt, Tevaga, or NBrown while they are sub 700k.Rabbits21 wrote:

I was thinking Cook in for Koro and Young to Starling but now with Bateman and CNH not far away Starling may only get 20-25mins with Havili not needed in the middle.mattnz wrote:

When will Hunt get DPP, before round 12 or after round 12?Chewie wrote:

What's ITB
Koro to Cook/Smith/McInnes, one of the few teams that needs some hooker depth. Do you need a cash down for that? Or otherwise to Tevaga is more affordable.
It's a shame you can't loop Young/Siro (assuming Young holds starting place).
Gets Aubbs or Averillo if you are still keen to get a CTR. I still wouldn't.
EDIT: Would consider Hetherington as a cashout. Not a great scorer, but JS good and covers FRF and 2RF

I guess I could go Young or Magoulias to Aubbs as well which gives me 2 centres this week. If Crichton is another 4-8 weeks ago and this Rorters guys info is correct then I could justify bringing Aubbs in.
I have 9k spare mate.Milchcow wrote:
Not sure what your bank roll or trades are, but I'd ditch Koro and Young, get in a gun.
Tevaga, Hunt, Cook, Taumalolo - whoever tickles your fancy really. If you trade Koro you'll actually be low on hooker stocks, so maybe get a gun hooker in, and then whatever you can afford - probably a CTR given your current outs.
Cheapie like Asi and maybe save some cash for future upgrades
If you have >10 trades maybe bring in Aubusson for shits and giggles (as long as you are prepared to trade him out again later)

Yes I have. I could go with:wolfking wrote:
Have you thought about trading Magoulias?
How about Hunt and Tevaga this week, with cash left over for a single trade gun upgrade next week?Damien Cooked wrote:apologies for the repost but didnt get any love earlier.,
Team before trades. Rank #41. 11k itb. 9 trades
Mcinnes
haas carrigan
Matto Tapine Angus
DCE Cleary
Lomax Crichton
Paps Teddy Katoa
Koro Grant Robson Paix Talau HTF Fermour Niu
TU: Koro + Angus to Lolo + Hunt
TD: Koro + Angus to CS9 + Tevaga
comment: Hold Angus, trade Fermour to Aubbo, trade koro to hunt
Hunt is popular up the pointy end so i wont gain ground by trading him in but he is excellent value so i do risk falling behind. Leaning towards TU and grabbing Tevaga for robson/tapine next week. Its not the pod play but still plenty of rounds to go and only 200 behind
