I’m gonna be mulling all arvo whether to play with 16 and bring Starling in or whether to bring Aubbs in. If Angus is out longer then Aubbs will start for the next 4-6 weeks and get 80mins and will be a reliable 45ish point scorer.

Would yo go Hunt for Koro or Tevaga?

I’m liking the Hunt halves/hooker DPP which will happen soon I reckon.

Aren't they both left edge? So they play on opposite sides

(remember this by Sivo running straight over Teddy on the left wing and Best scoring all his tries on the left.

Nah mate, Best and Sivo both left side players so they don't oppose each other.

I feel a little hesitant in captaining Cleary even though he is coming off 100+ points given he may lose KM against Titans (total Storm KM last week was 253 and Cleary kicked for 600+ KM last week). Also wondering if slower service without Koro might make a difference, though Cleary still went big in previous Maloney-less games with Kenny at HOK

Think I'll just go back to Haas

Cleary could get tries served on a platter against the Titans this week.

If it's any help, I strongly considered the black widow option, and might have gone that way if I had more trades, but I just know he'll fuck me and I don't have the trades for that. And you never see it coming until final team lists and it's awful living in constant fear of last minute change ups from Robbo. Can't do it again........until next year perhaps.

I reckon Lolo or Ponga are great shouts for captains.

Lolo: He loves versing the Sea Eagles. Has an historical average of like 80+ against them. I believe he wasn’t the greatest fan of Greeny either so maybe he will be pumped up for a big game at home

Ponga: Ponga finding a bit of form and against the dogs in a day game at the Hunter.

Yes Hunt should get DPP after round 12, Scout has indicated that McInnes will get 2RF for playing lock, which would follow on that then hunt in the same team gets DPP for playing hooker now.

But honestly mate there's no crystal ball, just pick one and back yourself.

I don't mind people asking for help and suggestions now and then, that's part of why we are here, but you might get more feedback if you weren't giving off the impression you're playing community team 3.0 every week

I can honestly see Tedesco scoring 70+ points vs the Warriors. Mind you I'm around 1k rank to I can take more risks than someone who is much higher in the rankings.

Is there a general consensus on where you are ranked based on who to captain? Is the general rule of thumb the higher you are ranked, the safer the captaincy play or vice versa?

Thursday afternoon, must be captaincy chat time, in no order.

Haas - ever reliable, the common option. He played 80 mins last week for the first time since round 5, will he do it again? Against the Storm in what looks like wet weather conditions, a reasonable option as always unless the Broncos, as expected, spend about 20 mins under their goalposts. Rating - 8 broken tvs out of 10.

Tedesco - salty non owner here, but he looks like a bit of a no brainer. No explanations needed, he's a genius, collects tackle breaks out of thin air, best player in the game. Captainers may be slightly wary of predicted rain in Gosford for Saturday afternoon. Rating - 7.5 broken tvs

Matterson - the big sook himself up against his old club, he will almost certainly go big tonight, if someone from the Tigers doesn't knock him out first. Great option. Rating - 8.5 broken tvs.

Cleary - The best halfback in the game right now, in top form, and the match up is juicy. If you throw the C on him though it does feel like chasing last weeks points, but right now he looks like he could go back to back tonnes. Unless he gets rested for this game, which, I dunno, I've got a weird gut feel that the Panthers might give Burton a run this weekend. Rating - 7 broken tvs. *choose your VC wisely*

McInnes/Hunt - I'm putting these two together because, well why not, two peas in a pod in the middle of the dragons pack. Up against the Sharks who like to rush up early and drop off tackles around the middle, both are a great option to rack up 50 tackles and some TB's each. Rating - 8.5 cracked tvs.

Harry Grant - salty captainer that got burnt last week by Maguire giving him an early shower. Potentially less risky this week as its a big game tonight for the "forever 9ths". Rating 7 broken tvs.

Taumalolo - he just hasn't looked himself in the last few weeks, despite still putting up reasonable numbers, such is the expectation of the 10 million dollar man. With the coach off to GREENer pastures, may we see a change in attitude? Will the coach push him out for more minutes? Probably not. Rating - 5 broken tvs.

    Other options-
    Cook - Good for 60+.
JTrbo - If you want to lock in 2x 54-56, he's your man.
Carrigan - sneaky POD C option, maybe he'll play the 80 tomorrow night.
