    - and probably linked with above, the largest score over a BE anyone has ever gotten? (E.g. like 95 over a -20 BE or something insane)

Just curious about the history of fantasy

I reckon CHN would be up there for largest one week gain. I seem to remember he wasn't in the game on his debut and he scored and then had massive -ve BE the next week

Not in the criteria you asked but my favourite random stat is Mbye going from 101 to -1 the week after

Being a WFB Teddy can score well or poorly vs anyone

He has scored 35 or less vs Panthers, Rabbitsx4, Stormx2, Tigersx2, Knights, Eaglesx2, Sharksx2, Dragons, Titansx2, Broncos, Warriors

    He has scored 75+ vs Rabbits, Bulldogs, Stormx2, Cowboys, Eelsx3, Raidersx2, Knightsx2, Titans, Warriorsx2, Dragons, Rabbitsx2, Eagles

Who he is playing has very little impact on his scoring ability

Cheapest player to score 100 would have to be Capewell. Was close to base price when he did it

For people like this who need a better 17th man but have limited funds, I think Luke Thompson is worth considering.

He's not scoring at the level people were hoping for, but for $400k less than the big guns I think he'll give good value for money.
Don't think there is anyone else under $550k who can match his scoring consistently- -plus if anything his scoring should go up as he improves fitness. His job security is pretty much as good as it gets too.

Yeah this is honestly a good shout mate. Seems to get great minutes and isn't he on track for DPP aswell?

I think you're on the money with your ideas mate. Young and Robson and probably Paix as well for next week when Luke is back (I think?) are your issues and potentially may want to find a cash out WFB/CTR if you can for cover if Niu is gone for some time.

If Hetherington scores OK starting this week you'd probably think about including him in your 17 next week. Trade Paix & Robson to your back-up WFB if that's a path you want to go down (the other option is play 16 for a week or trade when someone is out for a couple of weeks or more).

McLean (calf) & Lemuelu (cork) drop out for Cowboys in 19 man update

Definitely narrows chance of Cotter dropping off bench (if there was a chance anyway) so will be interesting to see Robson's score again

Largest 1 week gain was this year (I think its Grant's $105k), but its a not a fair question, because salary cap increases mean that price rises grow (in absolute terms) every year.

Its not that long ago you could buy players for under $100k, and $500k was top tier gun.

What might be a better question is who had the largest rise relative to their value at the time, which is probably still Grant, maybe Payne Haas from last year (outside chance Cleary in his debut season)

DCE/ARey/Hodkinson a good shout under the old 3 game price rise system

Cheers mate. Was also thinking of finding a way to get Sironen if he scores decent this week. Could be my 17th man so then I can upgrade Hudson Young to a near 700k player

My favourite was Munster scoring 99 one week, then being a late withdrawal in final team lists the week after, and then missing an additional 3 weeks after that
It really pleased everyone that traded him in after the 99.

Payne Haas dropped cash with an 85 in round 3 this season. I don't think you'll get a bigger score than that losing money.

Sorry it got muddled mate didn’t put it under the quote.

I said B. Sironen could be a handy 17th/18th man and score high 30’s maybe 40.
