I get the Packer hate but I got more respect for him than I do for most others that have spent time out of the game for various reasons.

The guy has turned his life around, no longer drinks, does a bit of work in the community, especially mentoring youth and seems to legitimately wants to make a difference in those kids lives.

Can't argue that laughing at Matto there was a shit thing to do but generally I am happy he's back int he game and I can't say that for everyone in this game. Looking at you, Ferguson.

Last time I saw something that bad was Mannering tackling someone, possibly a Tiger too? Can't remember who it was. Mannering immediately started screaming for a trainer as he realised what was happening before anyone else did and I think he pulled the players tongue out too.

Macca had one a couple of years ago that was similar. Was bleeding from the ears and convulsing.. looked horrible. Was in the stands and crowd was basically in shock

He was fine after. Hopefully same for MCK

When I was a wee lad, something similar happened and one player took the mouth guard out of someone's mouth to help look after them.

Can't remember the players or teams involved, but the news mentioned it as 'life saving play of the week' and I used to wonder who got that award in other weeks

Hope MCK is ok. The way his legs were shaking right after looked horrible
