I suspect this week my decision will be Teddy/Cheapie or Moses/Gun this week. Leaning two guns (or rather cut priced keepers). Got 198k itb and selling Macca and Clark for approx 1.16m.

This lets me run with some of the more POD heavy guns in Cook, Taumalolo, Murray and DCE currently, plus will allow me a much better 17th man than most. Would end up being something like Papy and SJ vs Teddy and Kerr/Rudolf tier 17th man. Teddy is also currently in a purple patch well above his career average, while this may continue I don't think it's likely for a WFB to score like Cook/Haas/Smith/Taumalolo for 17 weeks straight, I'd rather have a more consistent gun

Interesting, I fully agree re Teddy's price. I have been just using HTF/Farnworth as my wfb 3 with a plan to wait until Teddy drops in price but that may take awhile yet, have thought about just bringing in the likes of RTS and accepting I likely wont have teddy all year. That's the decision I need to make now

Team feels pretty set now but there are a few guys in the 17 that give me pause when I scroll by as I believe there is better out there but I’ll probably be unable to get them.

Teddy might be a lucky trade down the line but I've fully accepted getting an under valued RTS who should average 45-50 the rest of the way, vs paying top dollar for Teddy with a career average of 55 at fullback. Imagine what you could upgrade with the extra 300k

It's probably Robson and Butcher for mine. Both don't have the role you bought them for which will significantly hurt the points. Norman is an unlucky pick because while he was dominating kick metres he was a great choice. Now with Hunt taking a fair share of kick metres his scoring potential has dropped off

I have an interesting decision now with Fogarty about whether I now wait for him to make more money after 66 or just trade him to gun as I planned. At least his score may allow me to upgrade to higher priced gun if I make move this week (which I probably will)

That's why I've resigned to running an alternative back 3 and spending the extra 300k better else where.

If it was a regular season where we were all able to have guns in every position 1-17 this would hurt me, but we are all making sacrifices somewhere

Same decision for me. He won't score a 100 metre try every week and without that looks firmly around a 40 point scorer. Sure he will make a little extra cash in the short term, but it's the time of year where you need to bank the points

Since restart, there's an average of 2 games per round with margins at least 26+ points. That's 25% of games. Definitely highlighting the gap between the better teams

Yeah that’s where I’m leaning too. I mean I could do something like this over the next couple of weeks:

Robson > Tevaga (+40k)
Norman > Moses (+30k)

Butcher > Munster (-130k)

Total cost of 60k, tough decisions to be made.
