Anyone seen any Ramien news? Wondering if he is a hold, or if I'm going to need to move him on.

Loyalty is also a 2 way street. Blokes like Herman Ese'ese on his 4th club, because he keeps being told to look elsewhere. Do we only expect players to stay loyal when they are performing at their absolute peak, but the clubs can cut bait and run whenever they want?

Loyalty is so dead when they gave him a career.
Broncos should not let him get fitness in games just to benefit the Titans next year. Now Broncos season is over they should give guys that loyal and will be there next year a go. Prepare for the future. Greedy disloyal man Fifita is not the future.
I just can't agree with this.
I don't mind using him in a bench role, IF Pangai and Glenn are fit OR we have someone like Bullemor who we genuinely think will be a starter in 2021.
No way am I starting Teo or someone else over Fifita out of spite.
I'd have loved him to stay but there's no fkn way I'm going to be mad about him or anyone else taking up the contract on offer.

979 for the week puts me at 8000ish for the week, tough crowd!
I guess Matterson scoring 5, CNK going off didn't really help. Probably another 70 points in there at least.

1029 and I still lost 8 spots... Captain Ponga was a success, if Matterson played on I would be pushing top 50 but it is what it is. Dropped back in the Storm league rankings to 6th also.
Missed a few games over the weekends. Surely Randall is a no brainer for the Knights? Any other major injuries around the park?
Trades are a bit ??? so far this week. Not going to look at any until TLT. Will just spectate everyone else's thoughts until then.
Hope this weekend breeds better results. UPPA!

Fifita doesn't owe the Broncos anything. They were his employer for a few years, so what?

I agree with you I'm big on loyalty & I agree re your Trbo's comment but Siebold is fighting for his job & needs to win so he will 100% play Fifita as soon as he's fit. Unfortunately today people are greedy & want the money now & I'm not going to criticise Fifita because if I was in his place I'd probably do the same thing. Loyalty to clubs is a myth now & with league players only having maybe 10-15 years as a career if you're elite like Fifita then you have to make as much money as you can because you have to set yourself up for life after league.

Milford and Bird were signed on big money deals but that would be about it. Boyd probably next highest paid. The youngsters that have been resigned would be on closer to the 500-600k range prove it type of deals

Boyd 650k
Bird 800k
Milford 900k
They're our really bad deals at the moment.
Milford decline kind of started with Siebold though, before that he was carrying the team.
Bird never seemed like a good signing, just never fit anywhere, and then injuries has ruined whatever he might have been with us.
Boyd should never have been allowed to be playing in 2020.

Broncos have been a shit club since 2006 i don't even get why people hate them so much.
I rather hate Roosters who got away with cheating the salary cap in 2018 and 2019. Now Cronk and Mitchell gone they under the cap but they should be stripped for those 2 premierships. It bloody disgraceful they get away with it. Good management my ass.

I would also add, Fifita was coaxed away by great Queenslanders and ex-Broncos players. Not like it was just the money. Good on him

I honestly think it depends on how thick you are. Someone like BJ who is dumb as they come needs to make as much money as he can, id say someone like DCE, Smith who are actually fairly intelligent don't need to chase the cash as hard because they have a paying future outside of football.
Pretty sure there are some really smart guys in the NRL, From memory Chris Lawerence banged out a 90+ in UAI finishing school.

Money Bill Williams fits that club well i dislike that guy just as much. Of course Roosters get him as they the Roosters.... He should be playing for Warriors to help them out.

It’s not a lifetime job, I don’t have a problem with employees finding more money for their talents with a different employer.

I’m big on loyalty but there is zero chance I wouldn’t be signing with the Titans for the money when I see what is being paid more than him at the club. Understand these deals are legacy but still. Currently Broncos are dying, Titans same level. If it was someone like the Storm or old donkeys I’d be backing him to stay, not like he’s leaving behind a stable club just chasing bucks. Kid is what 19? Has to take the money on current climatemy tv broke wrote:

The Boyd signing made a lot of sense at the time. He was the second best fullback in the comp behind Slater and had a game that looked like it would age well being based on smarts rather than speed or strength. Ended up bad due to losing his heart and desire to play
