if Niko is named rd 1 do you take the chance on him? There's also the issue that given the chance he may outperform Hastings and then you don't know who gets dropped come Pearce's return.

Take both for 6 weeks then reexamine when Pearce comes back. Could have made 100k by then

If i dumped JReyn and replaced him with JNiko i can fit 7 sure fire GUNS into my side but i hate the CTR pairing and 2 of the 4 ressies just don't seem strong enough

Just great. I was looking to select Niko as an el cheapo NPR since he could also slot into FB if there was an injury then again the Cocks have that Latrel bloke.

Does anyone else think the Roosters will use the Mitchell Pearce event to get Jarryd Hayne back this year instead of next ?

Despite all the rumours I still don't think he'll be back until next year at the least. I also doubt he would have anywhere near enough aerobic fitness without a full pre season.Your Name wrote:Does anyone else think the Roosters will use the Mitchell Pearce event to get Jarryd Hayne back this year instead of next ?

Lets face it. Any one priced under $200k that starts round 1 is going to come under very serious consideration.
But its likely both Roosters halves will likely be extremely tempting. I suspect they'd try and sign a replacement rather than play 2 inexperienced halves if Pearce ends up getting the boot completely.
If he does just get 6 weeks make Niko/Langi/whoever will be a nice cash cow for everyone

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 3
Woke up this morning to the news that Pearce got pissed and is in big trouble for his antics and the first thing I thought of is, wow, how can this benefit my fantasy team? Obviously Nico may come into contention like everyone said but I'm pretty sure the Rorters will end up poaching another contracted half from some other poor club if Pearce is suspended long term.
Actually I lied, the first thing I thought of was, "sucked in Roosters"

I guess that would mean running one of niko, Hastings, Taylor in your 13 along with your chosen gun for 6 weeks till Pearce is back. Probably Hastings the safer of the three? Could be risky points wise vs a gun and a mid ranger as was the case for most people pre 'poodle-gate'. But the sweet 100k on offer could be worth the loss of points?

VS Dream Team have locked in Tuesday 2nd. Hoping they have backed their bad stats off eg errors were minus 4 last year, penalties minus 3 or 4 as well.Finger Puppet Mafia wrote:I'm tipping the Fantasy won't open tomorrow or Saturday. they have shot themselves in the foot ... again.
