Would possibly come in handy if Matterson is a late out, or any week i need to hold someone else.  JS Pretty good hey?  What do we think he'll score?

I thought Havili would play close to 60 mins and avg around 45. So far he's played 48 and 36 mins for 45 and 34, but we kinda knew he doesn't have the motor to play massive mins.

Randall played 77/90 mins, so I'm hoping for a 60+ min role. Maybe like 57 at the low end.

He made 71 tackles with 2 missed and no errors or penalties, so good signs he mightn't get hooked early for playing ass. Against Storm he'll probably have a bit of defending to do.

Crossland on the bench as a HLF, so kinda expecting him to spell Randall and Mann to HK probably, but a chance he's just there as a utility body..

FOMO if he's the next big thing Laughing HK playing 60+ with Macca, Watson, Brailey all gone for the season.. might seem like it was a no-brainer in 3-4 weeks.

Haha, talk about preaching to the converted.
It’s great just as a shot, also tried it with baileys and milk.
It even goes well with coke.

If you like sweeter "sipping" drinks, don't ignore a good sherry. It's not cool, but a decent Pedro Ximinez is delicious and cheap as chips.

Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:Hey MS. What are your thoughts on Norman > Taupau?

Bank 60k and at least I have a fair idea of what he will score each week, Norman’s range scares me whereas Taupau has a floor of 45

Since Hunt went back to taking kick metres Norman seems to be about a 45 average kind of player, while Taupau will pretty safely average 50+ from here on in when you include his monsters

To me it would depend on number of trades and what you can do with the cash.

With trades limited I'd probably rather hold the 45 scorer and have the trade to pivot later when players get rested/injured. As an example if you are able to sideways trade someone like Cook>Smith in round 19 if Cook gets rested that could bank you 60 points instead of a 0

Random Wednesday chat - how many players have you still got in your team, that you began the season with?

I've got 7 starters, and 1 NPR (Haas, Carrigan, Cleary, Taumalolo, Lomax, Papy, Leilua, & Wiliame).

I've also got Aubbs again, who I started with, but not counting him in my 7.

A lot of my borderline keepers are gone so numbers don't look great

Cook, Taumalolo, Cleary, Papy, Carrigan for me

Yeah that’s my main hang up. 8 trades left and 260k before doing anything. So very flexible.
Yeah playing the long game is smart but so hard to do. I’m sitting mid 300s so hopefully everything falls apart around me

only 5 remaining... Haas, Carrigan, Lucy, Papy, Lomax

(players I could have kept a bit longer Mann, Rudolf, and Koro)
