Am I getting this right?
If I have $200k left and I bid $200k on player 1 and $200k on player 2 and am the successful bidder for both then I bust my cap and I am out of the entire game? IE: My team is null and void???
#confused

I don't think so but it could use some clarification from B/L now that I've written out the following example, but the way I read it, He'll do Luke first, check for the highest bidder and then take that bid from their cap. Then he'll do Levi, check for the highest bidder, and then remove that bid from their cap and so on.
So in your example, you bid 200k for player 1, your are successful, 200k is removed from your cap and you're done. He moves to the right to player 2 and your bid won't count because it busts your cap. This makes sense I think.
Where it could be a problem is if you have 600k, bid 200k for player 1 not expecting to be successful and 500k for player 2, but you are successful with player one which means player 2 busts your cap and you waste 400k.
How that B/L? Is that how it goes??

That's how I read it. That 400k wouldn't carry on to player 3 etc, you would just be shit out of luck
Jumping Marlin wrote:If B/L does not send out teams until after tonights game, what do we do if you have two many in a position? We need to nominate before the game don't we?
I have too many 2RFs and one is playing tonight (Lane), so I need to nominate someone to sit out. So I nominate Doorey* to sit out (I need to say this now as this means Lane is in). I also nominate Hughes to sit out.
I think SI has too many 2RFs also. But I don't think he is impacted by tonights game?
What happens if someone ends up with too many in a position but they just don't know it yet?
* unless you kind chaps would let me decide after the game.
jelejasof wrote:my reading of B/L's original post is that the slots just get filled in the order the players were picked - Group A, B, C then D (and left to right in each group):
You are only able to grab the correct starting position per team, eg 1 hooker 2 frf....if you end up with more then the available positions then any players selected after your slots are fill will not score you any points however the money will still be removed from your salary cap.

jelejasof wrote:if someone puts in a bid that they can't afford at the time, that bid can just be disqualified?
B/L wrote:Yes.
I had been processing it differently though because it was quicker.
I'll have to do it tomorrow when I have time and it's not rushed.
