I'm not getting Cleary/DCE and went over yours on MosesMulvy wrote:
Yowser! I guess you would have won Cleary or DCE before getting to Moses so my 574k still a chance?

I love fantasy auctions, and the interesting thing is that small changes to rules can have big differences to how you work.
The main difference with this comp compared to normal (or compared to what I normally do) is that you can't see how much players were sold for, or how much money other teams have left to bid with. Means a lot more guesswork in working out how much is required to win a player.
Increases nervousness levels when submitting bids.
Also allowing total bids made to exceed remaining cap changes things as well. There was no reason not to go really big in that last round with the tactic of keep trying until you win.
IMO the best play was not to try and get a full 13, but to target the big players. Depends on remaining cash and which positions you need, but put over a mill on Taumalolo, Harris, Cleary, DCE, Moses and hope to win one of them If you had more than $2mill cash available you might even get 2 of them. For the guys that needed a prop its a bit risky because if you win too many props you stuff up future bids, but only 2 people still needed props I think.
But I'd be very surprised if $500k wins any of those guys above
My other bid, depending on cash available, would be to bid $102k on Danny Levi, and hope to deny MS a hooker.
Risky play to take a hit just to try and hurt only 1 of your opponents but every little bit could help.

Could have used you 2 days ago. But you offered help so more fool me. Didn't think it would be so tricky. So much guesswork in this one as you said too. And my cheapness along with procrastination and the way I play fantasy quite cautiously bit me in the ass.
