Really? That’s 1 extra trade I wasn’t accounting for. Means I will have to use an extra trade… I am on the boat that BA just wanted to give Matterson 1 extra week to make sure he is A OK given his history. He will be back next week.

I am happy to hold Matterson and Smith if it means saving 2 extra trades which I desperately need. I am thinking of Niu > Hynes/Eisenhuth/Hampton and Randall > Starling just to make sure I have a definite 16 this week and take the hit.

About that video re Baptiste challenging Starling makes me think Havili has the 9 roll locked down and Starling/Baptiste challenging for a bench role.

EDIT: Can also go Niu > Hynes and Randall > Moses + 53K to fund a Lucy and Butcher/Young trade next week?

Go with your gut, but the whole concussion thing just would make me wary. I'd trade him to Bateman personally. I don't see the appeal of Hynes unless it's strictly a cashout.

Hold mate. No need to trade this week with a decent 17 and 5 trades left.

Just sub Talau in for Pap.

I want to give Kyle the chance to take a breath and get some development. Trent Robinson didn't guarantee he'd come back next week saying he's not going to project long term what team will look like next week

This is where Weidler's comments come from at 1:20 to around 2 mins: https://www.roosters.com.au/news/2020/08/05/stand-up-and-fight-hard-again/

The way he's not saying whether it's rested/dropped makes me want to sell Flanagan

I've done it before, its great for the 4pm Sunday rankings boost

If you have Randall, make sure he isn't ranked higher than anyone whose score you want to count, just in case he comes in on game day.

Welcome Great team no trades necessary. Play Talau at wfb over Pappy as he just got dpp ctr/wfb or Hammer who probably has the better match-up but it's a tough choice. I had a quick look to see if you could loop Talau & Hammer but I can't see a solution so you'll have to go with your gut.

Cant fault that too much. Personally I'd also look at Lucy to Tevaga and Randall to L Thompson, which would leave 13k spare I think.

I like the trades. Lucy to Tolo is a major upgrade, Bateman is your other good option. Not sure on the Randall trade, but gives you another decent scorer over Hammer so could be a big points boost this week.

After this injury week, team ends up as this:

    Grant
    Haas Taukeiaho
    McInnes Taumalolo Yeo
    SJ Munster
    Crichton Aubusson
    Tedesco Ponga Papenhuyzen

    Hunt Carrigan Moses Young

    Rudolf Talau Wiliame Niu

NPRs and 17th aren't the best but it's what I've gotta deal with. 17th man can just be a weekly loop to see who can nab a 40 first. Good enough?

    Bump

Trades this week would be Luai/Fermor > Moses/Munster

Mate just with players going to be rested and more injuries coming I feel having a good 18th man is important and Starling seems to have good job security.

After these 2 trades I have 5 left. Only other issue is Pearce at this stage.

Re Bateman I think he will average between 58-62 in the run home where Taumalolo is likely to average between 64-70ish... Bateman is the POD option though......

All you lucky folk trading out Luciano while it looks like I'm stuck with him for the season.

Hope you've learnt to give him good ball close to the line Brooks.

@wolfking with Teddy going to be rested at some point I think you need another elite WFB. I can’t see Ponga getting rested in the run home, I’d bring him in for Nofo.

Thing to consider I guess though is with Green now at the Knights does Ponga not do any kicking at all now? Could cost him 8 or so points a game if he doesn’t do any general kicking.

    Wow, that's specific.

Both good options but yeah Tolo would be first picked out of the two.
