    I wouldn't worry too much.

Lolo has returned to form in the last couple of weeks. The difference between owning Lolo and owning McInnes in the run home is probably negligible unless there are rests/injuries/suspensions.

I'd back Lolo in for a 100+ at some point if he keeps playing the way did last week under Hannay

They'll probably both average around 65-70 from now.

On the Teddy “off the boil” topic, I think it’s a bit form and a lot team structure. With Angus, Cordner and both Morris boys out has been a big drag for him. And last night Lam made it even worse. The Chooks looked a lot more sideways in attack and Lam seemed to me to be running into Teddy’s usual lines.

I picked Bateman over McInnes, not really sure what I was thinking

Hoping Bateman can return to last year's form and put up consistent 60+

Realistically, all the uber forward guns should score fairly similarly, just depends on who goes big over next 8 weeks with attacking stats

I'm actually surprised that Staggs is the most traded in player this week. I guess a lot of people had Best.

Same as picking Taumalolo, nothing wrong with it.

All the uber guns can put up a score like that any week

It tends to even out over the season for a similar average

I think he is probably the best pure centre option, but I'm curious how many would have pulled the trigger if he didn't score 88 points last week

Since that point Teddy has posted the following scores

34, rest, 82, 76, 62, 57, 50, 20 total of 381 for an average of 54 which is right around his career average at fullback

There was also a point (after his 62) where he was more expensive than Cook and only 9k cheaper than Haas where I was advocating for people to not bring him in because being a WFB can't match it with the uber guns over a full season

Just for a reference since round 6 when I grabbed DCE he has posted the following scores

57, 42, 86(including the softest sin bin of all time), 63, 79, 65, 87 for a total of 479 points and an average of 68.4

I know these scores don't exist in a vacuum since I had to play other WFBs instead of Teddy

But what is the lesson learnt here that I can use for next season:
    - WFBs are volatile and at some point will lose money. It's not worth blowing a team up to grab them at peak price
    - Halves that dominate their teams kicking have an enormous base and are unlikely to lose money unless affected by injury
    - This one seems obvious but ignore last weeks score and pick the uber guns that haven't put up a monster yet. We know they are all capable of it and most of them do it a few times a year. So if one has a run of "just average" scores you can be sure a monster is probably just around the corner
    - Football isn't played on paper. It doesn't matter how much of a "dream run" a back has they are no guarantee to score well

I got Ted in for his 34 onwards lol. Not the worst result.

Makes me wonder if going Grant to Cleary is still the play. Paying 948K for a half that will probably get a rest at some point seems whack but like you say, the base stats are just too good to ignore.

If he can maintain that hunger he showed last week then he should continue to score well. I've said it before but our only real attacking threats are the edges, and with Dearden there he seems to get some good ball.

As a Broncos fan I'm more worried he's going to break himself (hamstring) again.

Captain Choices in the top 100 and top 1000 teams

    Top 1000
    Payne Haas 526
    Cameron McInnes 158
    Nathan Cleary 112
    Jason Taumalolo 73
    James Tedesco 71
    Damien Cook 23
    Daly Cherry-Evans 15
    Harry Grant 6
    Ben Hunt 4
    Siosiua Taukeiaho 3
    Cameron Munster 2
    Kalyn Ponga 2
    Reece Robson 1
    Ryan Matterson 1
    David Fifita 1
    Tohu Harris 1
    Jaydn Su'A 1

    Top 100
    Payne Haas 48
    Cameron McInnes 26
    James Tedesco 13
    Nathan Cleary 5
    Jason Taumalolo 3
    Daly Cherry-Evans 2
    Damien Cook 1
    Reece Robson 1
    Siosiua Taukeiaho 1

Should be pretty accurate now, there will be the odd edge case there where the captain is actually a new trade in, and not the listed player. Eg Su'A is probably Taumalolo (or Fifita or Bateman), Robson is probably Cook.. also Grant is probably Cook

Obviously the numbers for those that have played are accurate and Haas is extremely unlikely to be anyone else you would think..

    Since round 6:

    6 - Papy (31), Drinky (61), Turbo (52)
    7 - Papy (87), Drinky (19), Farnworth (45)
    8 - Papy (31), Drinky (29), Farnworth (36)
    9 - Papy (69), Drinky (17), Farnworth (24)
    10 - Papy (32), RTS (42), Crichton (56)
    11 - Papy (73), RTS (31), Crichton (43)
    12 - Papy (62), RTS (52), Ponga (55)

Farnworth put up some reasonable scores during that time, it was only really Drinkwater that provided poor value for money

I did the same thing. Lolo will still put up big scores too.

McInnes's had dropped just enough since Hunt became prime hooker to make Lolo seem thd better option. And it still might be the case over 8 rounds.

Trade 1 is locked in with Grant to Cook.

    Trade 2 is either:
    HTF to Moses, or
Robson to Lolo if Granville makes it onto the bench.

    HTF to Moses gives me:

    Team:

Would prefer to cut Niu, but then that trade locks out early and am worried about Robson. Moses trade gives me 68k ITB with 6 trades. Lolo trade will give me 250k ITB with 6 trades. Any thoughts appreciated.

Personally I don't see a need to punt Robson yet, I'd hold for this week and just see what happens.

Granville coming in seems more a result of Clifford being dropped and Drinkwater/Asi still unavailable.

Every chance that Hampton is be back on the bench next week as a 'utility' and Granville drops out again.

Drinkwater is back next week and he probably comes straight into the 6 jersey.

Hannay spoke a couple of weeks ago about preferring a utility on the bench to cover multiple roles.
