thanks MS, relates to your previous comment to Camo. As someone who holds trades where possible (for a long-standing mates H2H comp), am interested to now see how decisions to hold Leilua, Koro, Papy, Katoa, Luai etc through the year, are going to play out through the final weeks of the season. hoping i can make a bit of a late season push for a decent rank with a few more trades in hand than most (right now i am miles back... ).
Having said that, there is still always a large slice of luck. Leilua was on the chopping block this week to upgrade to Taumalolo- but the Grant news saved him...

I think anyone with trades will storm home. I've always been a fan of zigging when others zag. Normally this means attacking byes incredibly hard. This year it means banking trades on one to two week injuries (Lolo early days as an example)
I still think we see mass resting in the back end which means those saved trades will be super handy. As an example if we see Haas, Carrigan, Cleary and Teddy rested in the final few rounds I won't be surprised to see teams run out 14 players. If you can sideways trade and grab an extra 50 point scorer you could make up 100 points in a single round

I dont see any Broncos being rested unless Siebold is fired already. He will be thinking, all these other teams are going to rest their stars, I am going to run mine until they drop to have an advantage and finally win some games.multiple.scoregasms wrote:

789/14 with Taumalolo, J. Paulo & HTF to play...chance of cracking 900 points. I'm regretting buying Cook instead of McInnes.

After Averilo's low score I'm now hoping that the Hammer does ok.

Any playable players floating around the 300k mark
Do we see anyone emerging this late ? Sironen and starling have thrown a spanner in the works that’s for sure

Still haven’t seen anyone post that is doing worse than me this week hahaha. Hoping Lolo, Robson and Mofo can combine for about 250 points.

As NRL Physio posted a few weeks ago, the injury tally is actually lower than previous seasons so I would say it's good management(having a full 21) rather than luck that is driving this season
Not every player carries a fantasy relevance though, its entirely possible that there are both less overall injuries in the NRL and also more injuries affecting NRL Fantasy by virtue of who those injuries are happening to.

Yeah I have B. Sironen & H. Young. I think I overestimated what they would score as I have to play 1 of them as 1 of my starting 2fr each week. I think even though there is the urge to upgrade 1 of them with all the injuries happening it's probably better to save trades for injuries.

805 with Taumalolo, Fotuaika and Moses to play.
950 seems likely with 1000 not out of the realms of possibility.
Glad I went with RTS over Staggs for Best and didn't just hold the trade and play Averillo.
Live ranking has gone from 443 to 569 so hopefully heads back into the mid 400s again after today.

I reckon I'd come in under 300k
But besides terrible CTRs, the <300k options look incredibly dire

Only just watching the knights game now. Bit harsh for Pearce to not get a TA for the Herman try? Herman best a few guys but was right in the line when he caught it which they pay 99/100
Swings and roundabouts I guess
Pearce still seems to have the bulk of the kickmeters. But aside from that he had a quiet game... those 7 MTs messed with his fantasy output though

Yeah, it does look like there are more injuries affecting fantasy relevant players this season

843 with MoFo and Lolo to go plus Aubo's 46 to come into the loop.
Considering I only played with 16 this week, I'll consider that a fair score.

Shocking week for myself. 856 with only Lolo to go . Having Siro. Hetherington, Starling, Averillo and Teddy scores all in my starting 17 has hurt majorly.

I agree. Imagine if the Broncos leave out Hass or Carrington for a week and say they are being rested. I can see maybe reduced minutes at different times, like Carrington got this weekend
