Been trying to reverse my Flanagan to Lam trade all morning but no good! Dead Horse Moral of the story - don't try and sort trades when you get home on a thursday night between dinner and kids bedtime - sh1t will go wrong. Sort that sh1t out at work before you get home!

If I was a racehorse I would be put out of my misery. Alas, I will limp home and look forward to L99 next year.

Oh geez. We’re here to talk mate.

I think it's free game until you're 10 years old but by then you should be able to settle on team

Hmmm that combo of Starling, Sironen, Fog is pretty rough.
Upgrade Randall to a Moses perhaps and one of those guys becomes 18th man maybe
Thanks mate! Moses is good value at the moment so might go him. Can use O'Donnell to loop Sironen for starling if he shuts the bed. Fogarty luxury upgrade down the track if trades allow so.

Sorted mate. Yeah good value indeed. And Fog should stay useful, man I wish I picked him up.

Yeah I think that's about right.

I started as a Souths supporter because my dad was, but at 8 he took me to my first game - Souths v Steelers, and with the Steelers being the local team and also beating Souths that day, it was all over.

Now if my dad was either:
    1. a more hardcore Souths fan, or
    2. the supporter of a team that was actually good in the early 1990s, like the Panthers

I probably never support the Steelers and eventually the Dragons.

I was given a hand-me-down Balmain jersey when I was very young, and I wore it till it fell apart. Ergo I feel like the Tigers will always be my "second" team after the Warriors as it was like I began supporting by osmosis.

As someone (Filth?) said before it was awesome being able to go watch live league as a kid every other week, with all the "big" names that I'd only ever seen on telly. So I don't think I'd ever waiver off the Warriors unless they ceased to exist. Considering league was always my preferred code to watch and support (despite pretty much blanket Union coverage growing up), the hype here in NZ during the week of their grand final appearance rivalled the hype before an All Blacks final/big match and I had never seen anything like it before. Even though we got smoked, it's something I look forward to happening again one day

Who would have thought a Titans half cheapie would be such a steady scorer haha.

Possibly Robinson and Flanagan are good mates, and there's nothing in it. If they aren't good friends then it is odd on a number of levels.

I chose to stay away from both of them. Grabbed Paix instead. Stupid Broncos.

I work at the same company my dad did. When I first started, plenty of people I worked with had also worked with my dad when they were younger. In fact my first boss, had my dad as his first boss (so I guess at some point in the future his child can join and report to me)

They've mostly retired now, but at the time, him chatting to my co-workers/some of management would not be out of the ordinary at all. Specifically calling to complain about some incident at work might be a bit weird, but I'm sure they would have spoken about me at times.

Speaking of my first boss, and changing team allegiances. He used to switch teams every year in the premier league. He had no specific team to follow so every year he picked a different team and followed them for the whole season.
Not really a bandwagoner, because even if they won he'd ditch them next season.

Yeah I think it's a beatup if Robinson and Flanagan Sr already talk often or have some relationship. If he's just called up out of the blue to say "why have you sacked my boy?" then it's weird.

2nd game has potential to be a massacre, not sure about a spirited mary farewell.

It's taken me 18 hours to take the first step and admit I have a (self inflicted) problem. Think I am going to need another bottle of Dubliner to help ease the pain.

I'd like to think I will learn from the experience but I never do.

    If I miss Ponga for the year, which one is better. Trade outs are Hetherington and Young;

    A. Fui and Brown
    B. 212K (Hampton/Tracey) and JTurbo

? Are people avoiding Brown because of his history? Last 2 games are gun status.

Is Fui in your 17 over one of other CTRs??

Arrived in Australia January '99, it took me a few years to get into RL as it's not a sport we play where I'm from. Lived near Parra so the Eels were an obvious choice, love players like Fuifui Moimoi, the Hayne plane, and the Semitrailer.
I've been working in Newy for 8 years now and have been following the Knights for a bit too, they'll probably be my 2nd team.

He wouldn't need to be. Have Lomax and Talau with Herbie in EMG.

Fogarty has been a good pick-up, his fantasy output is still on the way up with the Titans improving. He'll be in my team for a few more rounds at least

I keep coming back to Cotric. 200k discount on his peak price this year. Broncos, Titans, Bulldogs coming up, with Warriors and Dragons still to come. 6 scores over 40 already this year which I'd usually take in the loop.

A lot to like there at $396k.

He's coming off a 6 so can probably wait one more week with a 50+ BE, but could do anything against the Broncos...
